Hi Lee - has the car been modified, does it have any service history - what colour is it? All of these things can impact the price someone is willing to pay -

Wheel might have thrown a weight and is out of balance. CV joint test - full lock in car park etc slowly drive forwards in circle if it has gone there will be a cyclic clunking sound also try in reverse to be sure

not sure on this one but.. I would go for seeing if the original piece is still available and get it refitted - failing that try a breakers?

The mountings will be the same so that shouldnt be a problem where you may have issues if it has a different AVCS setup to your own as there are single and dual versions

Did a 190 mile trip motorway and some lanes best could get was 24.3, was using cruise control and it did get quite hilly which may account for a little...

Wotcha and welcome - rambling, we dont do that at all on here... you will fit right in. It is possible to have a great engine build ruined by a bad map so having mods and no map isnt necessarily a bad thing - it might be running a little lean. find a tidy example of the car you really want then you will be prepared to deal with anything it throws up.
