  1. knowing what i know about the names on the dyno sheet i sugest get it look at else where, unless im refering to a none related grpah that is
  2. only know some stuff dude, typicly stuff i;ve had done with my own car or asked the true experts about :)
  3. hahaha, im up this saturday, what time you planning to head up for? only way will be to replace it with a race spec decat designed to flow well but be quieter
  4. TBH i doubt the mapper would have a clue
  5. chips away are a franchise place, so depends on if the local place is any good. I used them for a dent/scratch on my old metalic black astra years ago, did a mega job, couldn't even see it once done. Was a proper old boy so i bet he's retired by now lol
  6. Welcome. they don't bite up at scoobyclinic, may do upon request though,, hahahahaha all are welcome on a saturday mate :) alot just pop up for a social and pork pie
  7. Welcome, be a tad different to a corolla haha
  8. Need to make sure comparing apples with apples, what is and isnt included
  9. Done this event a couple of times, managed to overshoot the runway one time round hahahaha
  10. holy cow, thats gonna be an ear bleeder lol
  11. tbh i cant see subaru releasing anything like the PPP any more, Pro R a waste of space tuning wise and suabru cut official ties with prodrive. Subaru seem more interested in sponsering horse shows than car events
  12. yes it can affect it without map, depends on what it is and how much of an improvement on airflow it is. Even though the ecu can learn, it can only learn to a limited extent
  13. Wouldn;t bother, wont get any gains from it and put warrenty and insurance at risk
  14. welcome
  15. AS above any mods will invalidate the warrenty. Given the rep of the 2.5 i would seriously leave well alone till warrenty runs out
  16. Could have droped the crank, need to get it tona specialist to diagnose
  17. Hahaha, mahl and manley :-)
  18. type r is single scroll, so no twin scroll to keep :) combined with sc46+ there is little to no reasons for the extra expence of twin scroll, this was my old hawk 2.5 given its got uprated headers and up pipe, which that didnt, should hopefully pull the spool lower even more :D
  19. you sure they can code it? getting the balnks is pretty easy, loads of them on ebay or even import ones as above.
  20. bad news is pretty much dealer is only option on the newer keys :( older keys are much easier, my type r doesnt even have a factory chip on it hence having a full cat 1 alram. Thimpsons told me they can't do them and got same result from few different places, ended up biting the bullet in the end and going via subaru, i only paid £175 inc coding due to them doing an offer on an open day. But given what they are its pretty fookin cheeky
  21. yeah, exac tly what they are aimed to stop
  22. nee probs, thats basicly what i did to my old classic and transformed how it drove
  23. oops missed the sniff test was done, start eliminating pipes and also check the side of the rad for any cracks/leaks, looks for staining caused by the coolant leaving residue on it when it boils off
  24. totaly different components. Anti roll bars stop the body rolling left to right, anti lift kit stops it pitching when you accelerate and decelerate. arb anti lift kit, its the gold bit at the end of the lower arm hes holding
  25. First steps get it sniff tested, could be the headgasket thats gone and a sniff test will give the yes or no to that. If its only when your driving it and on boost i suspect you'll find the gasket may have gone turbo side and when it comes on boost its push the water out. Get the sniff test done and report back
