About going rate for a wrx so don't think you've been had. Think it's just a paperwork thing.

tbh not huge difference. for 500 2.5 will need closed decking plus you'd need to source the block etc etc. Scoobyclinic built my 2.5 specifically for 500-550 and would be my personal choice if i was to have another built, just can't beat the low down grunt imo :) and as mattie says, cheap normal means wont last, with all supporting mods and such im well over 20k with a bit more spending to come to get to the 500

My advice, find a tuner your happy with and go with their advice. 500+ is not gonna be cheap, prob 15-20k.

Yeah, I'm not sure how many were actualy made, but it wasnt many. The lmited spec was always gonna hurt sales. 300bhp on 4 pot brakes,,,,, eek hahaha https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/887658-anyone-know-the-difference-between-sti-bugeye-wagon-and-saloon.html bit more info in there but can't pin any proper list down at the min

yeah the last were 2001, but for some reason they toned them down. I can tell you 100% its not an STI so you wont ever find an applied model code, will come back as a wrx. Won't be an SE either cos no sunroof (unless you cant see it in the pic, its only from side on), SE was added sunroof and leather seats, was the only difference. It's also a uk or euro import car, can tell cos of the vin code, jap vin codes are just 3 digits and 6 numbers, not the full 16 digit eurocode ones There was a guy claiming he had a 22b a while back, a 4 door one :S lol turned out it was just registered wrong with the DVLA.. just for example, Euro vs japanese

no mate, just registered wrong. Hawk estate STI doesnt exist.

New member in Rotherham (South Yorkshire)
Been registered wrong, DVLA wouldn't know so just put it is an typed/written on the form when it was imported.. The last estate sti was a bug, and that was watered down with no brembos etc, blob, hawk, hatch and the new saloon only came in sti in the saloon/hatch variety.

Considering a Forester diesel
They are already banned in certain cities so its only a matter of time before the tax them to buggery to stop people buying them. Also they only make financial sense if your doing over 18k a year anyway

Getting there matey, one comment is get some mesh in front of the intercooler, last thing you want is a stone going through.

First MFN of the year, (Nottingham) Sunday 2nd April
For those who arn't aware there is a monthly modified car meet at a pub called MFN (middle of F'ing knowhere) near nottingham (eastwood to be exact). First one of the season is Sunday 2nd April from 5pm till 10. Cost is £2 per person and its normally a good larf and see some proper chavs to point and larf at hahahaha Its a Static show so park up and wander, no live action stuff. The bar will be open as usual (just remember about not drinking and driving) and there's always food stands etc. Other thing to note is it happens every month for the past 10 years+ and the police are well aware of it and do tend to attend. Behave and make sure your legal and they are fine and they tend to have a good chat (you'd be amazed how many patrol officers are petrol heads as well ;) ) http://www.mfn-club.co.uk/Home.html There's a big ikea nearby with parking so we can meet up before hand, ( Giltbrook Retail Park, Ikea Way , NG16 2RP, Giltbrook ) plan would be meet up at 4.15/4.30 and to head out at 4.45 to get the best parking spot. Watch out for updates because last year first one was delayed a month due to bad weather List of people going, 1.Tidgy 2.Rps chesterfield 3.Allistair 4.DaveRAC 5.Rybo89 6. 7.Kyle (Tidgys mate, yes i do have some :p, in his Jag F type R) 8.Eddy (Tidgys mate, New Honda civic Type R, yes i have hurled abuse at him) 9.Jonno (Tidgys mate, V8 Mustang) 10. Anja (Tidgys mates mrs, Boxster S)
