Turbo, decat, map and fuel pump should be about it.

that ivan's? that had an engine build, although just pistons so was limited to 400. Pretty limited on how far you can take it, 350 would prob be the max you'd wanna risk on the standard internals.

What on earth is your problem? you've done nothing but ****** and get a tit on every time they get mentioned. Yes they do send out there machine work to SMG, but everything else is done in house.

Clinic can rebuild current one, they have done 5th gear synchro in my type r box, done the 6 speed swap, built my old ppg box. One stop shop :)

Sounds like found a decent dealer. Instead of naming and shaming sounds like gonna have to name and praise when all sorted.

Aftermarket 5 speed gearkit, ppg, albins etc. still not cheap though. Just go like for like if your not launching it

Depends how mad you want to go. Like for like replacement should be fine at that power level with some mechanical sympathy. If you plan on going higher power then uprated gearkit or 6 speed, but neither will be cheap

Decat and map is about as far as you want to go on the standard engine. Just be carefull of who you get to to the work for you. Some very dodgy places around your way

I wonder if the headgasket had gone previously and they didn't do the crank bearings.

Warrenty repair or reject the car, you have 6 months legally now. If they do do a repair make sure they use a proper specialist. Do you know exactly what has failed?

franchise from what i can tell, flashmaps rather than proper map. stay clear

Zero scoob on their photo's on FB and looks like all flashmaps, based in maidenhead as well so would be a trek and half if local to notts. Zero comments on SN about them at all.

Any link to a website of theres? Typicly a couple of hours assuming all goes to plan, multiple dyno runs (can go 100+ if a cars not playing ball) and then finished on the road. If you can;t find any info on them stay away.
