  1. Welcome. How sure are you its running 300bhp? what turbo is it running?
  2. As above, need to define what you want or budget. Sc42, fuel pump, injectors, front mount, syvecs will see 400 but prob be £4k if bought new. Second hand parts and map will be cheaper but need to find decent parts. Decat and Remap will see 330 but only be about £1500 give or take
  3. its a gb270 spoiler, although not sure if it was a prodrive option as well
  4. tbh not sure you;d want to rent a cat. you either love em or hate em. i love mine. he's such a daft sod though,,,,,,,,,,, sorry couldnt resist lol
  5. Ah k. i thought you said that was full that was all,,,,, hahaha
  6. have you ordered your new 6000TB hard drive yet for all your leather and whips goat !Removed!?
  7. love you too hunni,,,, hahaha
  8. hahaha, nah.
  9. mine? missing two doors to be an rb5 or have i totaly missed the point? prob the latter haha
  10. welcome. post up any questions you have in the tech area., were a friendly and helpfull bunch :)
  11. yeah, go back a few years and you could get em for 20k
  12. woudln't be the first time i;d seen issues after a backbox change. map will be to the setup it was set for, they dont take to change that well unfortunately.
  13. 20's should be ok. not sure on long runs what they will get to be fair.
  14. GB270 as said is just a fancied up wrx so waaaay overpriced. My advice with the budget you have, get a cheap run around diesel and then spec c weekend toy ;)
  15. 50gb day one patch? ffs
  16. Depends what backbox you put on though. If its more restrictive then will need checking at least. Back box's can make a difference
  17. best bet ring round and try some of the price comparison sites. Just check they are like for like policies though
  18. scary thing is i dont think you'd get a 22b for 50k now :o Even in japan they are daft money, last one to sell was a ropey high milage one (180k or summit daft) and it went for £70k :o
  19. MPG on em is pants, but as a workhorse they are hard to beat by any other car (and i mean that genuinely). Winter especialy you'll be loving it.
  20. Yeah its protective wax. They wax parts that wont corrode but then dont other parts that will :S was all over my dads XV engine bay when he picked it up as well. O on a slight side note, get yours into a specialist for undersealing. they dont do it from the factory now but put these daft plastic trims on. they claim it protects it but in reality they collect stones which rub against the underside of the car. seen several hawks int he air suffering from underside rot because of it
  21. got one what mate?
  22. scoobyclinic will have a rear seat brace. Genuine mats are going to be a much harder find though. by genuine do you mean subaru or rb5 embosed ones?
  23. easier to find a hawk or spec c thats in decent nick thats all http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/impreza-sti/imprza-sti-spec-c/5050530 http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/impreza-sti/jdm-wrx-sti-twin-scroll/5601509 there's no STI wagons in the new age by the way (ither than odd imported ones that were a bit of a funny spec without brembo brakes etc)
  24. Insurance and parts no difference in cost in reliaty. TYpical myth dealers used to say to try to get you to buy a uk car rather than import. Other than the burble the JDM is a better option
  25. nope, it's all 2,5's, even the 2015 ones have issues. Already seen 3 2015's having rebuilds due to ring land or HG. Only revision they have done to the engine is ridges on the outside of the liners to bond better with the block. Does it def have to be a hatch or estate?
