Subaru service rip-off
Dealers make their money on servicing, not on new cars ;) Mrs used to be sales admin for a dealer, margins on the cars is very small for the dealer, servicing is a tad different though

Remap tweak
O totaly mate, although i tend to hear alot of the inside track of what problems people have claimed to have with clinic and lets say they are being extremely economical with the truth ;) Have I had the odd issue at times? yes, have I need to do anything but ring em and drop the car up with em to get it put right? nope. They ever rebuilt someones engine under warrenty due to ringland failure on a forged mahl piston. hahaha hull scoobs, there funny, only site i know where if you say a good word about a specific tuning company (in this case clinic) you get banned instantly. Make of that what you will.

Remap tweak
Why is it ok to say someone is good but not that they are bad? There was a company setup a while back that was flash mapping cars, despite repeated warnings to owners people went to them for a map. out of 20 cars they mapped 7 blew up, 3 of the owners left subaru ownership because they couldn't afford the rebuilds. Would you want ot hear about bad things or not? at the end of the day you takes your choice and you pay your money

3.0 engine seized / timing skipped
All internals could be damaged, vales, pistons, rods, bearings, crank etc etc. and to actually seize solid will more than likely mean engine is totaly scrap :(

Remap tweak
Wouldn't let dynamite touch my lawn mower let alone my car, mates car had been mapped by him and it was pulling more timing than a clock with a near empty battery. His rep is less than great amongst the well known tuners and mappers such as Andy Forrest, Paul Blamire (zen) and on 22b.com where most of the big boys hang out etc etc Andy actualy called him DungKhan on there before he stopped going on after getting ripped apart on technical stuff Very very few folks I let anywhere near my car Pat Herborn (who maps ecutek and syvecs at clinic), Paul Blamire, Andy Forrest and engine tuner are the only mappers i would use.

yeah that'll do. :)

How (un)safe will be?
Should get to 300 on the standard ones. May need a fuel pump though

How (un)safe will be?
ask about a price to fit em maybe?
-
How (un)safe will be?
speak to clinic mate, keeping it off boost will be ok with the turbo but injectors may be too much.
-

Tidgy's project Type R
Cars now up at clinic so waiting game begins :D Gonna be a few weeks till i get it back due to moving house
-
Big improvement time BHP
standard ecu will need a daughter board to make it mapable. how has it been turned down from 271? its unlikley you'll see 300 on the standard turbo.

MORE POWER
South devon is engine tuners neck of the woods. Pop in and see em, there one of the few places i would actually use.

Tidgy's project Type R
haha cheers matt
-
Tidgy's project Type R
haha yeah, always need a backup :D

Which performance pack?
the packs are pretty much the same excluding the fuel pump from what i can tell, clinics just doesn't list all the gaskets and stuff that come with the exhaust kits. Clinic do all my work, from service, right through to full engine build i've just had :) cant recommend them highly enough.
-
Tidgy's project Type R
0/35 by the time i get up to clinic that will be enough milage :D Turbo has now been decided, bit of a special one off that should make for a decent figure an cracking spool, bit of a test bed so if it doesn't work will be plan B. Gonna be dropping it off some time in the next week or so and it will be with em for a few weeks while we move house and sort some stuff out :D

Scoobyworld.
yeah looks to be about £1300 ish? doesn't include for a fuel pump that will be a good idea on a wrx.
-
Scoobyworld.
no mate, mapping roughly £350-400, license is around £200, add give or take £100 for dyno.
-
Scoobyworld.
£1000 for a full decat, panel filter and map? seem to cheap to be true.
