  1. Looking great pal [emoji106][emoji106]
  2. Had timing belt, tensioners and pulleys changed today. Many thanks to the guys at triton motor services. Great job done.
  3. Not sure I like the 666 in it. I'm. It a devil you know lol
  4. Hi I have a 2005 WRX, so check rear wings and rear sub frame for rust. The wings could rust from inner wing out. Check for any whines from gearbox ( it's the week point of the car) anything not quite right with gearbox walk away. Just cost me nearly £1k to have mine reconditioned. Engine is pretty much bulletproof, but check service history. Especially for oil changes. So change oil every 3k miles, but every 6k miles is fine, depending on how it's been driven. Then just check for usual signs of accident damage. Maybe an hpi check for piece of mind. If any mods have been done check who done, ante they good? Other than that the rest is normal things to check for. All imho. Good luck
  5. Thought I had a wheel bearing gone, so when to my local mechanic. Which was good, but I got my date wrong for my timing belt which is now due. So booked it in to be done next Thursday. Belt tensioners and pulleys £320 all in. Not what I wanted, but could be worse.
  6. Have you tried mb developments? (Matt baker) he's on Facebook. I'll try and send you a link on Facebook
  7. Agree with all of that. I used to be a car transporter and most cars have that as a reset.
  8. What car is it? I doubt that will do! Does it look like this?
  9. Could be the fuel filter. Do you have a pic?
  10. I've all ready pm'd about the battery tie [emoji6]
  11. These arrived today. Very quick service from scooby world. Arrived in 2 days. Just a shame is raining car and dogs ATM. Will fit when dry [emoji1]
  12. Tempted to do that too. I've got a prodrive back box and my mid section is looking a bit rusty.
  13. Finally ordered a set of black wheel nuts to finish off the newly refurbished wheels [emoji1][emoji1]
  14. The one I want is simply my nickname and nothing to do with my user name. The reg I want is WEB81E, but costs a fortune the last time I looked for it. Or one other I'd have is WEB8Y, but too much money again, so I will never have a plate that when cobbled together vaguely resembles something.
  15. Understood, just though a price might get more interest Ps there is only one plate I want and it way too much money
  16. Let me be a bit more helpful [emoji6]. The 2.5 have had more report about head gaskets and ringland failure. The 2.0 are pretty much bulletproof. If you mate is going to be getting tuned, then depending on there budget the 2.5 can be the better engine, but that would need a rebuild.
  17. Hehe sorry bud [emoji6]
  18. Got worried then, quickly looked and thought it was an MG ZR, oops. Only joking, nice looking car [emoji1]
  19. Washed and waxed for wedding yesterday. Hard wired dashcam for surveillance while parked. Tomorrow recondition wiper arms and rad stays. Then order paint for callipers and new black wheel nuts to finish wheels off [emoji1]
  20. I just got mine done. The pics are when it was just moved from workshop to outside. Pic from both sides. One side with sun on them one without. It's there take on smoked chrome.
  21. Hi if I understand it right, you can change the centre pipe (resonator) to a non resonator and that should make it louder.
  22. Had wheel refurbished today, look much better. Pic 1 before pic 2&3 after
  23. I'm not home at the moment. I'll try and get pic later, but they are not really thin one?
