  1. I do like your bay savage, wanna sort mine out [emoji6]lol
  2. Have you tried importcarparts.co.uk. If website doesn't list it give them a call. I understand not all parts are listed. Several people on here have used them. I haven't yet so can't comment, but many people recommend them.
  3. That's the wording I was looking for lol
  4. Possibly bearing gone? Was it a secondhand pump?? I'm far form an expert in mechanics, just giving my thoughts on your problem. I also like to learn [emoji1]
  5. Bleeding used to be done by filling reservoir and turning to full lock both ways several times, watching that the reservoir doesn't go empty. I guess it's the same for scoobys.
  6. I know what you mean, where I park at work is quite similar. As a idea could you not put up a 'temp' garage. I mean a gazebo or similar. Or even a timber 'shed' type thing big enough to drive into. Temporary structures wouldn't need planning permission, but I think there is a limit to the size you can go, but a gazebo....... (like the ones that Halfords use. Or even a retractable sun shade, like the ones shops use, but that would depend how close to your house you park.
  7. Mustang or cobra for me. 2 car on my list that I shall probs never own [emoji45]. But my mechanic has a mustang, so you never know lol
  8. Seems a bit steep for pads??
  9. I guess it's a secondhand pump? Could be a duff one? Maybe air lock, how did you bleed it or I don't know if they are cross compatible maybe they are. It suited.
  10. That would have been my guess, air in the line. How quiet is the pump? I've heard they can be quite loud?
  11. Thanks
  12. Nice looking car. Welcome along.
  13. Have you got a link for one? I could do with one of those.
  14. My WRX has alloy ones. To be honest they might have been done before I got it
  15. I believe some cars were fitted with steel arms and the recall will change them to alloy ones, due to rusting out. Now I may have that wrong, but it's something like that.
  16. Mine has ECUTek and I've not had a problem. Yes it was locked so had to go to a garage that use it to have it altered, but at the end of the day, I'm not into changing the set up on a daily basis or am I looking to go on a track. So for me it's perfect. Like kershaw said I leave that to the professionals. If I change/upgrade a part I'll ring engine tuner first and then get them to tweet it. And they give me all the support I need. But if I was looking at lots of track days etc and had more knowledge then open source would be a better option.
  17. I had my 55 WRX done last year. I had to wait a couple weeks for airbag to arrive, but was done quickly. I would chase them up or try another dealer (if one around)
  18. I done my wife's crv that had same problem. I just got new ones. Easy to fit. Just 3 bolts behind interior panel.
  19. Cheers. I've read the same, nextbase wins hands down.
  20. Maybe blocked pipe or thermostat stuck shut?
  21. Thanks good to know. Are there any recommendations? Or a list of what ones?
  22. What about the stuff they use for wet rooms. No joins, as far as I'm aware
  23. Everyone is different, I guess. My wife has driven mine a few times and every time she does she comes up with more excuses why we need to swop cars lol. But I guess it's better that she loves the car, rather than hate it.
  24. I think the classics sti were 5 speed, but I'm sure someone will be along to confirm, savage?
  25. How do you know it's the head gasket?
