  1. We're not like 'other' oc's as long as it has six stars on then it's all good, going on a bit of a tangent have you looked at legacies or foresters in regards to insurance ? They tend to be in lower groups than the impreza
  2. Hello & welcome, there's nowt wrong with the gx models good cars & looked after they'll go on forever, however your current pasat will be quicker and have more torque so if your looking for an increase in performance it won't happen, you will however gain 4wd and be able to go just about anywhere with a smug look on your face
  3. Have a look at www.viperpreformance.co.uk Good products cheaper than Samco &sfs have huge stocks so no waiting for 6 weeks
  4. I shall move it for you now sir ! Not sure about the increase in sidewall profile, obviously the speedo will be out a little, may have some issues with diffs ? It's not something that's really done here in uk, if you want to do more serious off road stuff you buy a landrover or something weird, Mr b's probably your best bet to answer your question, failing that have you looked over on www.forester.org or www.dirtyimpreza.com
  5. Cheers ☺ ash is on holiday txt him but didn't realise he was still away so no idea if he's planning on coming. We're camping on sat should be interesting !
  6. Stick one aside for nick please mate, he's confirmed ticket to me
  7. Gonna flex me moderating muscle & lock the thread haha
  8. May be a bit hard unless one of you two has developed a way of travelling back in time
  9. Have you checked relays & fuses before you start ripping it all apart ?
  10. I can't get on the opposed forces site at today, there's place near me that just breaks subaru's I'll post up link
  11. Only heard good things about surrey scoobies, a few members on here use them so if they are giving advice/possible upgrade path you should be in good hands, cosworth are dry filters so need changing at service intervals, where as k&n etc are oiled, which can play havoc with the maf sensor, people tend to stay away from then unless they are going maf less
  12. 255l fuel pump is worthwhile if your going to map just to be on the safe side, don't want it leaning off too much under boost, for the sake of 80-100 quid it's a worthwhile safety measure
  13. No worries mate, if stock I'm guessing they should look like this Then to the cats Trubos normally look like this, (with up pipe attached) If someone has already changed them then happy days as it's a bit of work to fabricate a turbo set to fit, or a fair bit of money to buy custom equal length ones
  14. Just keep tabs on the seller Mr b, I bought two new oem rims in march and wished i'd bought 4 so 5 more came up this last week thought oh I'll get two more but I missed them
  15. What year is yours ? Not to clued up on legacy business Have a look on www.opposedforces.com that's where I pulled the data off fo the other part no's but I may have given you the numbers for mk2 But if you go to the legacy section you'll be able to get the right year and pn
  16. Good news I bought some stuff from them a while back well impressed with prices and customer service,
  17. Looks like you'll need either number six or eleven depending on what side of the car that's off No6 is guide pin part no 26228AC000 or 001 No11 is lock pin part no 26228AC010 or 011 I wouldn't go on my word as this is what I've pulled from some online diagrams but should give you a good start if you contact your local subaru dealer
  18. Ah ok mines I'm pretty sure mines different to yours Mine sit in a slot on the arm with the bolt going through. Has the arb turned up yet ?
  19. Lol I'll edit post for you
  20. Ah ok, I'll have a dig round the web for you www.importcarparts.co.uk may have them, if not it may be a new hanger, as it must have been cross threaded to have snapped [emoji26]
  21. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14415-Wanted:-Newage-Headers-(read-desc)
  22. When you say link supports which bits do you mean mate ? Close up of the bracket kit,
  23. Yours has the equal headers alread, it the turbo's that have unequal ones as the burble is made by the escaping gasses hitting the shorter side of the exhaust and creating whe off key sound
  24. Can you post up a pic ? The only things I can think your refering to would be the caliper mounting bolts or the carrier to hub bolts, Unless you mean the pistons ? In which case you'd be better off getting an exchanged recon caliper
  25. A couple of people have put Un equal headers on to give you the burble, I'll post a link when I've found it
