  1. Whitleine 22mm bar and solid c shape droplinks, along with stronger mounts, I believe your droplinks are a different shape I'm not sure though
  2. Haha I know if i'd have looked under the car 1st i'd have seen they were wrong, ended up needing the impreza ones of the same year, I also ended up changing to the metal rear droplinks and a thicker bar but that's another story,
  3. Here's a pic of the whitline ones I bought However I ordered from their catalogue part no's and cross referenced on some subaru parts sellers turns out they were the wrong ones, too big and have ridges in them. But they are black and do come pre cut
  4. Re runs of crime watch usually a good place to start or various dogging/leather 'special interest' sites [emoji51]
  5. Depends again on what manufacturer you buy from some are pre cut and others aren't. If your removing the bar from the car it's not an issue ,bit of a pain trying to wiggle It into place I imagine, but I can't see any problems with slicing them open.
  6. Have a look at the whitleine ones depicts on what kind of budget your looking at, the droplinks are good quality, as for the arb bushes it's best to measure the bar as it could be what's on the car is different to 'spec sheet'
  7. Personally I like the non tint look but it's your motor so do what the hell you want ☺
  8. I've no idea as not got ssm2 on mine (pre2000) However I'm sure you can do just about anything with it as it's pretty much what the dealers use
  9. Millers has a really good reputation it's British made as well, they make loaf's of oil for different aplications no idea what the oem oil manufacture is, but you my even find it in your local motor factors, I did and it was about 8 quid cheaper than anywhere else

  13. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/65-parts-accessories-performance/39426-freessm-complete-access-your-ecm-tcu.html&ved=0CCkQFjAFahUKEwiK3L6Wh57HAhXnPtsKHdfeAAE&usg=AFQjCNHaa4MsbWwbL32JsDGMRtjn-NfiIg Sorry it's late I've been feeling like death, Here's the dongle you'd need for I phone
  14. Well if you test the feeds to the ciggy lighter & door lights may give you an idea if it's git an intermittent Fault and slowly work backwards from the fault to see if theres a break or bad earth somewhere
  15. Is it for the box or power steering ? Any of the three mentioned above will do th job as long as it meets the oem spec, Millers or fuchs then castor is what I'd go with, have you looked at opie oils site ? We get discount too
  16. Imports don't Come with alarms standard so if may just be the way it works, do you have the two button key ? May be worth taking the door cards off to see if there are any locking actuators attached or not ugged into the loom, Does the door light work when you open the doors or just any time if feels like ? Sounds like somone may have hacked into the loom at some point and made a mess of things, i'd also check the big fuses in the engine bay as they do corrode over time so could just be making contact randomly Sounds like it could be an earthing problem, do you have a multi meter? Would help you out no end
  17. Just seen this from an ex subaru dealership http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=201400745374&alt=web
  18. I guess it would be a bit of a pain as the ecu would probably need changing to one with cruise then need mapping to be able to get the most of out of the sti side of things,
  19. Have you decided on what your doing with it yet ? Or is it a case of getting the block & seeing what the best plan of attack is ?
  20. This isn't mine just helping out spread the word from foc. I did yous copy the link maybe needs and edit
  21. The blue box is standard, pink is uprated, so you could get away with a blue one, depends on who you speak to, scooby clinic reckon the blue would be fine up to 300
  22. How much power are you running ? Exedy pink box clutch will be fine up to about 350 bhp
  23. It should run ok it does on win 7 I'm in the mode of a field at the mo but if you do a search from ssm2 there's a good thread on subaru forester.Org about it and what you need, I'll post up links later. As for dongle for iPhone I think you need a wifi one, have a look in the app store for odb2 app
  24. Also to throw the td04 & 05 hybrids into the mix not sure about cost but you could supply your existing one and get it converted
  25. What kind of phone fo you have ? You can get dongles that connect to your phone for a fiver that will do a good job, alternatively you could look at downloading a free copy of the subaru select monitor 2 that will require a laptop to run but it's specific to subaru and will do a lot more than the generic ones above
