  1. If I had 10k i'd be seriously tempted. One drive through your local village in that & people would be getting out the way ! Least they'd hear you coming Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  2. I got mine made up, I think it's to do with the extra couple of inches on the boot floor and the impreza ones are angled slightly up ? May be worth looking into a wagon system might not be as much modification to do Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  3. Give me half hour and I'll get some up for you, been meaning to take some for another member but not got round to it so a kick up the !Removed! is what I needed haha Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  4. Did they check to see if the camber bolts were ok and aligned properly ? Just about everything is adjustable and you can buy different camber bolts from eibach or whitline to add a bit more of you want Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  5. Shouldn't be to hard, find an ign live under dash tap into that, install an in line fuse as you'll have chopped the cig lighter adaptor off I guess, then ground the negative wire to a suitable point Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  6. Hello, not sure if they came as standard or you could tick an options list, some of them have an external unit stuck to the shock leg, about the size of a red bull can, best of googling it brings up loads of images. You can buy a complete replacement kit from pedders inc tops springs & struts or you can buy separate springs and shocks Mr b is your man on here, have a look in the forester sub section as a member has just changed his for normal shocks/springs, there's a thread with various options and part no's Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  7. Hello & welcome feel free to get involved and post up some pics Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah should be ok, I'll take a pic of mine as I was told that it routes round the diff a little differently but if you know people with the welding tools then your laughing, Not sure about the filter, are you going to delete the snorkel and resonator & put it in the wing ? If so maybe a bit of silicone hose and unbolt the airbox from the maf if possible, depends on the setup they change from year to year Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  9. Bridlington ☺ I'm not available it's an in laws birthday do on the 1st (I knew I was doing something when you said on Monday ash) Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  10. What's hiding under the tarp ? Thought an old landy at 1st but it looks to big unless there's other bits perched on top? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  11. Rather randomly got a new welcome pack and shirt/stickers & another halfords card ? Thought I'd renewed not signed up again Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  12. Hello sounds like the crank, All depends on what you want to do/plans with the car & how much you initially paid weather it would be worth it or break it for spares, 2nd hand engine would be cheapest option but may go pop. Rebuild is best way then you'll be able to spec it how you want and will know what's what, but you won't see much change from 3-4k Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  13. I'm with you matt, no work needed to bring it up to scratch, off to hunt for 10k haha Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  14. Whilst we're on the subject of stuff that's currently unobtainable how does this tickle your fancy dave ? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/subaru/forester/subaru-forester-sti-rare-facelift-360bhp-398ftlb/4438043 [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  15. Hello & welcome, classic systems will fit but you'll need to relocate the hangers and possibly add a couple of inches to the back box, you could always got forester specific system made up, an induction filter isn't really needed unless you want big power, the standard airbox is efficent to about 300bhp Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  16. Have a look at the eBay seller impartsb46, ex franchise ells loads of subaru bits brand new for knockdown prices, had some leggy wheels on but not sure what Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. This one's 3" all the way through so you'd need a bigger diameter downpipe to make it fit Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  18. Are you after a figure of what yours should be boosting at stock ? Depending on model and if has ppp etc should anywhere between 0.8-1.0 bar iirc ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  19. I'd just find out what type it is as my local subaru dealer told me they've stopped selling it and to put anything u wanted in, they had some shell coolant behind the counter too Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  20. Depends on what your read, like everyhthing else I suppose if you go into it prepared and with plenty of time and light you'll be fine it appears to be the o/s that's a pig as some people have had to disconnect the rack from the steering wheel I reckon about an hour with brew time inc Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  21. Scoobyparts have a sale on selected whitline bits, finally got round to ordering the steering rack bushes Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Still not super noisy, only other thing to check is a failing wheel bearing, they get noisy as hell when on the way out, Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. Mine scrubs up pretty well you just Nedd to look at it from about 5 feet away so then you can't see all the hail stone dents ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

Subaru's in general noisy, sound deadening adds weight as Chris says tyres make a big difference too, I've just put on some good years with very low rolling resistance so quiet but you do loose a little in handling, You could always try putting some in the doors, do you still have the under tray and under bonnet mat ? dynamat I think it's called is supposed to be good, Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
