Brake pads...
Yeah mate don't bother with uprated pads on the rear tge padgid ones you can get are pretty effective, the fronts handle a lot more of the braking anyway go uprated fronts then if your still not happy change the rears later

Re tune
I do indeed however my 2nd map is for emergency supermarket fuel if i ever get stuck without shell garage, it's an esl board which is only usable for cars up to 1998 so may not be of any use to newer members, have to look at the other options, what year is your car mate ? Carberry open source mapping may be worth checking out, mfnick has it on his sti, think you can have twin maps and will be about 300,

Which Exhaust?? WRX Hatch
Jmget a system with a resonator in the centre section that way it won't be overly loud, if you decide it's too quite you should just be able to get a non res section made up cheap enough

Underseal
Oh heck not good I managed to get some on the manifold last time I diy'd stank and looked like the car was on fire for about 2 days till it burnt off !
-
Underseal
Yo ! Have a look at www.underbodyprotection.co.uk No idea where they are in the UK compared to you buy it will give you a rough idea, there are others out there that may be more local
-
sti or not.
Normally 'proper' sti's have other performance bits, different interiors firmer suspension etc, if you open the bonnet and yours has a red manifold it's a full blown sti engine, they also have badges in the cabin & on instrument cluster. But with yours being an import the Japanese love to customise them and there's a chance the original owner ticked loads of sti extras on the options list. so if it's not a factory sti then it's got some expensive goodies on [emoji16]
