  1. Decided to re seal the ofending headlamp now it's dry in doing so ive managed to crack the indicator lense and snap off the ball and socket typ connector that holds the indicator to the headlamp. To be fair they just snapped as soon as I looked at them. So managed to secure everything so won't fall out now on hunt for new parts.
  2. Tell me about it mate :-( Nick& gem it's easy to find only attaction in the north lol.

  9. Hi mate, never got round to doing it just not had the time. I've not even had chanve to order the gasket. But the car is running ok. You can get something called seafoam which you can use to clean the valve in situ. Sorry I can't be of any help
  10. Yeah just !Removed! off as I have broken qnother clip so brittle. If I turn up on Sunday with no grill you know why
  11. Update on the condensation battle. Seen on internets that I can evaporate the remaining water with hairdryer through bulb hole. Commence drying after removing the battery, only to see a little ripple of pooled water in the bottom of the lamp. No problems I'll just poke a rag through with a spanner to soak excess up, drops spanner into the headlight assembly. Cue much swearing and having to take the grill off snapping some clips along the way to wriggle the lamp enough to fish the spanner out. Finally after much cocking around I now have a dry lamp :-D
  12. Dug my clay bar out of storage. It appears tohave half melted :-( hopefully can just mold it back into useable bits
  13. Really nice clean car on an R coming from Bradford towards leeds
  14. Come to car this morning and my headlights gone sweaty again. Haven't got the time to take half the front end off so round two commenced when I got to work, removed bulb and rubber bit stuffed full of moisture absorber. May just leave it to breathe for a day or two with no bulb in ?
  15. http://www.creativeauto.co.uk/epages/es144173.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es144173/Products/CA10070 bit late for those that were wanting them a while back but I've found a company In leeds that do the high level spoiler with an integrated brake light for new age cars
  16. Hello welcome, As for mods you'll find plenty of inspiration here, question is how would you like to make it your own ? [emoji3] looks power or everything ? Sent from my SM-T210

  18. Sorted out my sweaty headlight & booked in for a service with martin
  19. Mines still on although I peeled the grey stuff off as it was hanging off.
  20. Hope you manage to get somewhere mate & it doesn't put you off subaru ownership, at the end of the day when it's been resolved I think this garage needs to be named so others can steer clear. Are you looking to go down the sale of goods act route ?
  21. Ah right. Yeah I wasn't expecting t to be cheap. Right rip off to be fair. There was somone on here a while back that could sort keys out I think. I'll see what I can dig up
  22. My only suggestion is contact your local dealer, for another two botton fob. May be a case of taking all the keys in and re programming them all at once :-( I don't know if the key has an immobiliser chip inside. If you werent fussed about the central locking mayby try a local key cutting place. Wonder what the other fob thing is for. ?
  23. Hello, bit strange and random reply but are you sure the 2nd fob is for the alarm ? 90% of jdm imports just have the factory security as theft isn't a big issue in japan. My previous 2 imports came with the standard 2 button key and a valet key.
