  1. Cheapest way is to get the app torque pro for a phone or tablet and a bluetooth OBDII dongle from ebay. The early models had a self check Done like THIS And welcome to S.O.C
  2. Message or speak with Savage he's best man to speak with here. I'm sure he hates it that I recommend him all the time lol :D I'd also recommend asking on other parts of the forum I've noticed lot's of unanswered posts take place in the newbie section. I'd say that's because people think it's just new members saying hello we get used to seeing and answering post in the other parts of the forum or seeing them on the side. :)
  3. Glad to hear they got to you. Just need to pick what you want from Halfords now :D
  4. Right need to get numbers next month we can get our names down :) I'll get on to Uk Foresters too :)
  5. Reply I've had. I have to admit was quick I like that :) "The Official Northern Big One Hi peter, If you wish to host a stand at th NBO thats perfectly fine with us, You dont need to sign up onto the forum to enter. if you wish to organise your members and create a list we will transfer this to a master list that will be going live in march. this is how we will keep a track of who's coming etc. Your are more than welcome to bring as many as you like, there is no limit to capacity."
  6. I'm just checking with NBO we might need to pre book I've never booked with NBO before for a club stand only ever turned up on the day, so it's new to me this :) I'll let you know as soon as they get back to me hopefully fill the slot's quick, also had Ukforesters might be interested to have a few guys come along which would be great :)

  8. No problem did you get it sorted ?
  9. Hi mate you on a phone or desktop. If you're using tapatalk be better coming out of that to start a post via Google.
  10. Oh right nice learn something new every day. This why I like being on forum's I must admit from the front I did think it was a saloon so makes sense. So all round an even better buy. [emoji106]
  11. Jack it up mate whip the wheel off and check the break line's and around the calipers plus bleed nipple for any brake fluid.
  12. I just punched two new holes in with screws mate only about quarter of an inch screws didn't drill it just make sure the licence plate holes don't line up with the bigger holes can higher it or lower it then just screw it on. Can get more double sided tape from halfords but I find it comes off anyway when wet like you have found out. I lost my back plater because of the same thing :(
  13. Hi mate sorry just changed the title for you as I thought you was trying to sell one. I'm guessing thats why nobody replied :) Mines just screwed on front and back or bolting them on. So not sure how you mean with your's have you had it moved to the side of the bumper so it's no longer in the normal place ?
  14. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Hopefully someone with some more knowledge on the Justy might be able to help, I've also looked through the many makes of Subaru workshop manuals I have inc the owners guides and don't have any for the justy :( I also think be worth removing the Tribeca section of the forum and changing it to a Justy section for you guys. And lets face it I've never seen a Tribeca in the UK yet :)
  15. Sounds like they have got confused to me with the 330 same thing and a great car so makes no real odds. but the 340 is the later one after the hatchback version. But still a great buy and I'm 100% the smiles when you drive it and sounds will be just as good :D
  16. Woman drivers <_< Haha ;) Just don't tell your missus I said that I'm safe i looked over my shoulder as I was typing :D
  17. I have 3 kids but to be fair in the 9 years I've owned mine I didn't join a club other than scooby.net but it's not really a club just a main source of info I guess. :D But have been in clubs with other cars unfortunately they did put me off for a long time. But this is a good club if I do say so myself, some great members all friendly all been a real credit to the car enthusiasts. So hopefully feel right at home to jump on in and get involved. :D
  18. Serious we don't do that here unless of course it's to do with the car ;)
  19. But still look's great :)
  20. The 340 I believe is a saloon thats a hatch sure don't mean a 330 ? Sorry if it sounds like I'm being a !Removed!, just wanting to make sure they dealer knows what they're talking about more ;) Salsa be best man to ask he has a 330 pictures of his car too on the thread to check his wing mirrors out ;) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/8238-my-sti-330s-pix/
  21. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And to joining the long list of Vag drivers that have made the switch it's one thing that surprised me the amount of vag owners that have come over to the good side ;) I mean that with a bit of fun ;) But no I can see why the impulse was strong with the choice of car. Does it have the spoiler ? :)
  22. Ok I can speak of my own problems with them the list is huge I was glad to get them gone. Og and not to mention what qoute you have now will rise by about £2500 by renewal there cowboys mate. But heres some of the reviews always worth googling Insurance companies ;) Top tip of the day :) "Anybody reading this. Please do not purchase your car insurance with 1st Central. They are the worst company I Have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It takes at least 30 minutes to get through. Then when you finally do, the person can only take a message and get somebody to ring you back. WHICH THEY DON'T. My car has now been sitting at the garage for over 2 weeks, waiting for somebody to give the go ahead. After trying to ring every single day, still no joy. They should not have company's like this on Confused.com. My fault I should of checked out before purchasing I suppose :-( Will make sure everybody knows though!!! Just posting it on Facebook now!!!!" "For anybody who's still interested.... I cancelled my policy several weeks ago. Last week I rang 1st Central (3 disconnections from their "improved" phone service) to find out why they hadn't refunded the extra premiums, or sent me a proof of NCD certificate that I'd asked for. Sure enough, they hadn't actually bothered to cancel the policy. Hence no refund. I kicked up another fuss, and managed to get the cancellation backdated to the date of my original instruction. That was a week ago. Still no refund. On the plus side, I did get a proof of NCD certificate - complete with error. Can't this shower get a single thing right?" iv been with 1st central for 1 year now and i would like Tom - Head of Business Development at First Central Insurance Servicese to answear this if he dares few months ago someone crashed in to my car and i wasent even in the car we passed details and i informed 1st central about the crash one month goes by and no news from your selfs and no hire car either and yes it was in my policy to get a hire car so i phoned ues up and after a month and a week of calls and hours of phone calls your customer service told me i was to go third party and sort it out my self OMG thats what i pay your company to do so after 3 months of talking to the other insurance company i got a check to by a new car and still no hire car from ues then yeha you tell me iv got to pay more money to get my car on to a new policy wich i wasent happy with but needed to get done now this is a good one when you first get insurance with you self you pay your deposit and ten monthy payments to pay your insurance so your deposit covers admin and the other to months of your insurance but your company done me out of that cause wen i got the new car i paid another deposit plus double direct debits to pay up to the end of my police so thats 2 deposits bumped out of my free 2 months and paying you to do a job that you never done but it gets better my insurance is up and your company wants me to pay anothe frigen deposit wat are you playing at and im taking advice to get trading standards involved if you dont sort this Thats three peoples posts on money saver the list just goes on and on and on. But I had gone fully comp declared all mods paid up for the year was about 3 months into the insurance looking through to tax the car I'd just happened to read the certificate I was 3rd party and wasn't under any mods listed so from what I had added on was now no longer there they had fiddled with it. Then I rang them up to sort it out could never get through was costing me to ring. Was told tough **** I should sell the car or sorn it as it was now illegal for me to drive with mods or take them off. The list just grew mate. I stuck with them until the end just for the years NCB and laughed like hell with the renewal came through as I said £2500 more. Oh and I had car stereo theft thing when I signed up when mine got stolen had no record of that either. I hate them and everything the company stands for.
