  1. As you have a high flow panel filter already in place look to a high flow exhaust system to match, then go for a map to tune to the parts. After that I would look at induction - but that is just my opinion, particularly as aftermarket kits for these are not readily available
  2. I think you are right there!!
  3. Wotcha and welcome!!
  4. gets me - who is dropping the money on these - I had a budget in mind of 10K to get a decent two door classic potentially with some work already completed and then go to work Savage, Gobstopper 1 (and I dare say yourself Tidgy) stylee. But over 10K to get a platform is bonkers
  5. Always the same when you are trying to get something sorted asap
  6. Wotcha and welcome - I have an N/A hatch and teh ride is geared towards comfort - dont know how the GX compares but uprated ARB's and suspension may be in order. Either way keep us posted
  7. Some great mods there
  8. You should have a feed pipe directly to the airbox - is yours there?
  9. Explanation I had from insurance co. was that in a closed / locked garage no one can see the thieves working on the car / bike so they can take time etc - on street they have more chance of being seen trying to break into car
  10. great to see some progress - I am slightly surprised you haven't been polybushing whilst the bits are apart
  11. not found one myself yet - will do some more digging - not sure how much you will gain as a high flow filter is good, even on the turbo models
  12. Wotcha and welcome - great motor - love a hatch me
  13. Gutted for you - effin scum!!
  14. There are less about (been watching for a while now) they do seem to be split between real sheds and very well kept examples with a sizeable price gap in between - literally thousands of pounds - P1's / Type R's now between 7K and 20K
  15. Jay762 replied to Gambit's topic in Motorsport Chat
yup see what the potential response would be
  16. Wotcha and welcome - that is a clean example!
  17. nice one - great way to share progress
  18. Wotcha and welcome!!
  19. That sounds very different to mine - clearly there is room for aural improvement!
  20. There have been a few conversations on the forum relating to the Subaru diesel product and its not great. Bearing failures due to misaligned gearboxes during manufacturing plus other stuff related to throttle valves and dpf's IMO if I was in the market for a diesel motor I would be looking elsewhere. One of the forum members picked up a Mitsi Lancer diesel and that has a VAG engine. But that is just me
  21. This is a funny thread - genuine hefty chortles
  22. The garage I use always contact me for things like this - quick phone call to say they have found something how to proceed plus an approx cost to fix - looks like they will have included a load of labour to remove sheared bolts, repair threads etc - which may well have been the right solution but as we say in consultancy - never surprise the customer
