  1. Purchased stuff for the big service ahead of the 50k mile marker

I enjoyed Star Wars but am a big fan and it is pandering to the masses drawing on a proven formula - However I really enjoyed Deadpool which is not pandering to the usual Marvel audience - it is most definitely a 15 rating - I think the celebration of International Womens Day may resonate with yourself buddy
  3. check and see if it changes temp with the aircon switched on - you may be looking at something electrical also

I loved the trailers and was not disappointed with the film itself
  5. Drove it to and from the cinema!!

Just seen this and think is great - black humour - film references, sending himself up, cracking action shots- stay right to the end for an additional bit. Really enjoyed it
  7. Got before and after shots of the spacers in this thread - only went for 20mm but they line up just nicely IMO
  8. Wotcha and welocme - not a bad upgrade path at all - loads of extra luggage space
  9. Wotcha and welcome - that is indeed a very clean motor
  10. Wotcha and welcome - some parts are interchangeable some not - for instance there are differences in chassis and hub components between later WRX and STI models. If you have patience and do your respearch upgrades / mods can be had at very good prices check out Rollomites build thread he achived a huge amount on a very tight budget
  11. Wotcha and welcome - feel free to get stuck in
  12. not saying its a bad idea necessarily - just what will fit and what wont - I get the need to fill out the arches a bit hence why I went with the spacers myself Doesn't sound like STI rims will fit from the same year - consider spacers to fill out the arches from a width perspective and retain your existing rims £180 for all four corners (I recently learned spacers are sold in pairs) or go for new alloys with a bigger offset, in this case you could opt for a larger diameter also for a firmer ride and again aesthetics - either way feel free to keep us posted
  13. Wotcha and welcome - check the PCD to confirm but ill wager the STI rims will not fit due to having a different hub. My 08 sport has a PCD fitment of 100 x 5 I believe the STI has a PCD of 114 x 5 and as such the wheels are not inter changeable without an adapter plate With a smaller tyre wall you will get a slightly stiffer ride, potentially less lateral movement of the tyre during hard cornering should improve the feel etc. to fill out the arches on mine I have just invested in 20mm spacers - that is a possible alternative if you like the wheels and ride you currently have
  14. sounds like a sensible approach - power to weight ratio and great chassis handling are great alternatives to big power
  15. Wotcha and welcome - Some mods already completed - any plans for further work? Feel free to get stuck in all friendly on here
  16. A great loss - Heart goes out to his family
  17. Reads well http://www.williamscarproducts.com.my/index.php?route=synthetic_coat I have used the silicon product they have compared the ceramic coat to and would agree whilst it gave a great shine finish the previous sealant and wax finish was a better solution - would be interested in feedback myself
  18. You shouldn't have a problem - rusty bolts on both the STI I had and the current RX tended to be around the edge of the engine bay nowhere near the scoop airflow - apart from the bolts holding the scoop in place on the bonnet they rusted - I believe - due to the sound proofing blanket holding damp overnight
  19. Wotcha and welcome nice bug - as above filter oil plugs and check belt change, also consider fuel pump if not, done for 5+ years get it running top notch
  20. Wotcha and welcome - standard cars can be found if you are patient - many will come with mods but it all depends what you want to do with it? Either way keep us posted
  21. Result - half the original price you found
