  3. If you see a car you really fancy get them to take pictures for you - many members on here have travelled quite some distance to get the car of their choice but it is normally worth it.

  5. yup you will be able to take your time and shop around until the right one for you turns up ;)
  6. thats pretty much it - agree with the loctite review, good stuff
  7. this type of thing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-OBD2-ELM327-V1-5-Bluetooth-Car-Scanner-Android-Torque-Auto-Scan-Tool-OBD-II-/111088326026?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item19dd61558a
  8. ok so now you could focus on finding a sport for you - which only has holes where they are supposed to be ;)
  9. ok so now I feel like this :D
  10. 'nuff said already methinks :P
  11. yup it a good idea
  12. its very easy to say yes do something when you don't have to live with the consequences - if you drive it and end up causing more damage is he going to take accept any responsibility for it? - I would wager not.
  13. will he buy it off you?
  14. Becky22 might be interested in this drop her a PM
  15. Great job a fair bit of graft gone in there in your picture of the headers they are shown with heat shielding in place - that all looks original so I would say they are the unequal length ones which come as standard, also I have read that equal length headers make teh car sound like an in line four so if your scooby sounds like it should I would say that is proof of unequal headers. cant help with the other stuff sorry
  16. a good trolley jack and a steady approach it should all be fine particularly if you have a couple of muscle bosons to help along the way ;)
  17. if the head has been warped in the process you are just making things worse as the fitting is not true which means it could move causing even more damage as metal meets metal - the temperature is from the coolant in the radiator that will not give you much of an indication as to what is happening to the rest of your engine my advice would be not to drive it - sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear
  18. nothing wrong with that - better to err on the safe side ;)
  19. normally day to day local use
  20. given the lack of care your car has had I would check to see if it has not been bent but you should be able to adjust it
  21. the perceived demographic who own and quite often crash the cars - you get a lot of performance for very little money this puts them in the price range of potentially less experienced drivers who can find themselves losing control and pranging the vehicles
  22. yup you will be cleaning small children and frail elderlies out of your grill :P
  23. well done, hope all are doing fine!!
  24. Wotcha and welcome - all normal stuff - the clutch is a little heavier than the honda car examples and they do idle lumpy, mine gives a little shudder every few revs, I have read that equal length manifold pipes will make it smoother and sound more like an inline four engine but not tried it myself
