  1. Ahh I recognise your style - adopted down my end on several occasions
  2. just had a look at your photo - as I have photoshop but very little skill so... any chance you could give the wheels a bit of a wash down so they are more of one colour (makes it easier to select and switch) and take a photo from square side on so it is a flat image of the wheels because I had a bit of a play and it turned out rubbish due to the 3d aspect of the spokes having slightly different shades where all I managed to do was make thicker flat spokes with the one colour.
  3. car furniture - petrol head IKEA - I will own an engine block coffee table - a la top gear - one day!
  4. What about pink?
  5. And if you get it made out of stainless steel you only need to buy once
  6. getting some strange looks from the older owners - confused when some random chap gives them a quick flash and a wave
  7. Thats a result - good to have a mechanic with a bit of integrity like that
  8. back to the future reference love it
  9. Mate of mine had a black Range rover and he did the gloss black rims look - worked well as the spokes were thick and chunky so as Adam says its down to spoke design to get the right impact with colour
  10. wrt the brake light - clearly its loving the attention being lavished on it - looking sharp!!

  18. Well there are a few options for your model so dependant on sound level or budget you have a nice choice. try and get some before and after vid footage
  19. Not seen that before - good mid country location, I'd consider it :)
  20. thats the best part - its a ticking clock and the dead / time line will get revealed as it goes on - and responding to yourself possibly gets me the last post if it expires at midnight tonight - although methinks Steve will be a little more sneaky than that

  22. Even the central locking worked as I walked away through the snow, to the amusement of passers-by :-) - very funny, yes I would have laughed also, partly because seeing you walk away after the accident but that is a Bruce Willis type comedy moment. If you decide to get your lad twirling the spanners point him in our direction and we could have a nice project thread on the go.
  23. Wotcha and welcome my 2p If you have the expertise, want something mint and you know all the running gear etc was in good nick go for a project and transplant, if you dont mind it being a bit rough knock out the dents and get a new windscreen. Farmerpug on here has made a really nice job of a forrester from something that was a little tired initially
