Hi all hawkeye wrx owner
ahh right - sounds like they are HID's, do you have a trailer compensation switch fitted which would adjust the lights from inside the car?
-
Hi all hawkeye wrx owner
I thought the MOT and self levelling was only related to HID specific units, does the WRX have HID fitted, thought they were just your normal halogens?

New to Scoobys and want to know what to look for
same here - just mileage, IMO the more expensive one is way over priced by at least 2k the cheaper one is a more realistic price - about 1200 wiggle room there I reckon

burning oil
The oil will be fine - I would have used fully synth myself but it is approved by all these manufacturers etc so no problems there. ACEA: A3 / B4-08 API: SL, CF Mercedes-Benz: 229.1 VW: 502 00, 505 00 PSA B71: 2296, 2293, 2300 RENAULT: RN0700 MTF-94: Manual Transmissions

New to Scoobys and want to know what to look for
will be interested in your reaction - I feel a big grin coming on wrt tweaks there are many options - start with pipe, filter and remap then brakes, bigger injectors, uprated fuel pump another map, front mount intercooler, bigger turbo another map also any chassis stiffening to suite along the way its a slippery slope but a great slide :)

In car recording tips?
open up a browser page with your you-tube video in then copy and paste the address from the top bar into an update the same way you did with your amazon link posting, it doesn't embed it to the forum but it does display as a video

running problem
that I dont know - but if you have the codes from the vin plate it will tell you what was in there originally and you could source one of those - however if the person previously has changed the engine you may then be looking for all the other stuff that has been changed to make it work eg loom, ecu etc chances are it was something that would work with the original setup so start with you r vin and model code
