  1. Wotcha and welcome - couldn't help you with that one unfortunately hopefully one of our legacy / outback members will be along to point you in the right direction
  2. fingers crossed its just the fuses but worst case you could have damaged the ECU
  3. a bit of washing up liquid in some water and a spray gun will be a basic tool for checking just look for bubbles - check all your clamps are done up tight and if the pipes are all original it might be worth considering replacing them with aftermarket items
  4. no problem with double din as stated above - dont forget the before and after shots ;)
  5. looks like its been under water - what do the plugs look like?
  6. Wotcha and welcome - get some pics up, would be great to see what we are dealing with ;)
  7. turned out well - they look spot on
  8. know what you mean - it is better than buying blind, there have been a couple of mint examples going through the for sale section, not the years you are after though...
  9. shake and bake baby :P
  10. I would look at the selector mechanism as you suggest - if it drives fine and reverse engages straight away that is where I would focus
  11. a grand to take the engine out is a bit steep as it is quite straight forward and can be done quite quickly by experienced staff. do they mean they will be taking it out and stripping the unit down as part of the work or is that just lifting it out of the bay?
  12. that is indeed great news - you will discover what an ideal family car it can be ;)
  13. You may have to travel to get the right one but it will be worth it ;)
  14. Wotcha and welcome - we have quite a few fozzie owners on the forum so feel free to get stuck in, post photos and tell us about any modifications you may have planned :)
