  4. Anyone got any advice on where to get a power steering pump for an 08 STI? Wouldn't be bothered if it was a recon or decent 2nd hand one, would prefer a legit breaker over fleabay.
  5. It is a Pioneer AVIC-F940BT bear in mind this thread is 2 1/2 years old so it well out of date by now. its been replaced by AVIC-F980BT http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/avic-f980bt-c
  6. My inital thought is the protective wax they spray all over the engine to protect it during shipping. My car still had some on it when I bought it and it was a 4 year old hatch lol. Have you tried to clean any off?

Eveyone with a Scoob is Welcome. Your welcome even if you don't have a Scoob, you just can't park on the grass :) As with the last couple of months, before adding your name to the list, please ensure that you read the following: Meet rules: 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Fairmile 2. No damaging the Fairmile grass 3. No leaving litter/cans/pint glasses on the Fairmile grass 4. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour that gives Scoobies a bad name In addition we ask that only Japanese cars park on the grass please. Members are more than welcome to come down in non-Jap cars (or bring friends) but please, Japanese only parked on the grass (there is a second car park to the rear of the Fairmile if you don't want to park in the main area).
  13. That's great news, never heard of gas plus so just googled it, look great deff getting some for the shed :)
  14. I know they can be a real pig to remove just from an access point of view! However if you are having trouble and you can't get them off with WD40 and a 14m spanner or socket then it's either heat them up with a torch (may be able to use them again if when cool) or use the Irwin bolt grips and get some more nuts from eBay, cheap as chips. It's not worth the effort to try and save the nuts imho, a pack of 5 M10 nuts cost less than £5 posted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLANGED-TYPE-MANIFOLD-NUTS-M10-x-1-25P-TRI-LOC-SUITS-IMPORTS-HBN10-QTY-5-/201161915756?hash=item2ed62f3d6c
  15. I'm going to guess kanckerd bolts on the Turbo/downpipe, @scoobyghost I'd take some Irin bolt grips just in case :)
