  2. Spent the afternoon spraying the wheels with plastidip. Before after
  3. how about clipping the wall as i turn right out my drive way and scratching/scuffing the rear lower qtr of the rear passenger door and wheel arch? For the !Removed! 2nd time
  4. I know that Jap performance parts drft car is a scoob shell with r32 Skyline running gear. TBH it would prob be eaiser and cheaper to buy an old BMW E36 or Nissan 200SX than convert the scoob whcih aren't generally considered good drift platforms.
  5. That's got to be some amazing CD if can make Nottingham look better
  6. I'm interested in the samco hoses, I know the kits differ for WRX/STI but not sure which hoses would fit. Any links so I can compare?
  7. I did here of a trick for aftermarket head units where you just remove the ground that connects the head unit to the hand brake switch and ground it to the chassis, this fools it into thinking the hand brake is on all the time. As I said though this was for aftermarket units so not sure how it relates to a factory set up.
  8. I'm was always told a ecutek liecence is around £500 add £3-400 for a mapping session and that's your £900.
  9. You can't just plug in and remapp. If the ecu hasn't been remapped before you need the software licence, the £995 will includes the licence you need. If you have a licence for the ecu it will more likely be around the £600 mark.
  10. must admit they look a lot better than the dull yellow side lights. I keep meaning to swap out mine and also do the front fogs to a white hue.
  11. Surrey Scoobies Website is back up and running woohoo. http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk The last meet of 2015 will be: Sunday December 13th from 1PM mince pies optional. Your welcome even if you don't have a Scoob, you just can't park on the grass :) Please ensure that you read the following:Meet rules: 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Fairmile 2. 13. I was chasing a leak on my classic and was told to steer clear of using those types of radweld products with water cooled turbo's, they can gum up the coolant galleries in the turbo, causing ongoing issues further down the line. Silly question, have you checked everything was tightened back up after the coolant flush/change?
  14. Scooby Pete replied to BrandyXV's topic in Subaru XV Club
There's a great site http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk It has real reviews from the public rather then trade reviews. You can search by tyre or car although there aren't any reviews for the XV yet.
  15. must admit I couldnt find a way to do a search on teechip :(
  16. Happy Christmas Hatch owners, shame there's not more models covered. https://teechip.com/subhatchxmas
  17. State 555 is a brand of Cigarettes that were the sponsers of the rally team back in the day when it was cool to smoke. When tobacco sponsorship was banned they changed the logo to a what basicly looked like a bracket and 3 commas. Bit like the old Mclaren F1 cars that had the Marlborough red chevron and black lines, everyone knew what it was even though they couldn't have the brand name displayed.
  18. When jacking the front I used to drive the front wheels onto bricks which raised the car enough to get the jack underneath. If using ramps I had some extensions the fitted on the ramp and extended the angel and made it easier to drive up. Or DIY it and make some out of wood.
  19. I think these have all gone, best bet is to ask on the Surrey Scoobies Facebook page as the forum is down at the moment. https://www.facebook.com/groups/14378431789/?ref=ts&fref=ts
  20. Tbh I reckon you're limiting your market for a set of high end wheels by just offering to scoobs, I'd post on scoobynet or just sell em on eBay to anyone.

  22. Just go to a local motorfactors and get it, they should have various sizes of rubber hose.
