Mine was a tight fit hsd to grapple with it the 1st time, can you reach under the trim and hold the back of the port ? I just had to persist and wiggle it loads before it came free

Mot tester failed me on it though as he was testing as a mx5 not an import. Divvy, I even took what ven has cut and pasted to him, plus the v5 and import docs. Just get one made as small as the law allows. Had this on mine for 3 years never got stopped once, if the anpr camers can read them you shouldn't have a problem
