  1. Yeah that's my intention at some point, you sticking bigger discs on too ?
  2. Ah ok no worries mate, was gonna ask you to measure the width if they were the ones with the sticker on
  3. Ones with the raised subaru logo or the ones with the sticker ? Sorry for the random questions but I've been told newage will clear my wheels
  4. Luckily my car appears to be made of rock and the gates come off worse [emoji51] Just wasn't paying attention swung out and clipped it [emoji35]
  5. Drove into the gate at end of drive proceeded to smash the 2nd gear synchro in sympathy for 3rd on way to work. Not a happy bunny today. Still I reckon it's the clutch given up and not my poor driving. Glad it's Friday
  6. Hi mate welcome, we're all friendly on here so feel free to get stuck in [emoji51]
  7. Wow sounds like someone did a 'cheap' fix can't believe it drives in a straight line When are you down at his next ?
  8. Gambit's just fitted one to his, maybe worth pm'ing him see if he as any pics
  9. Should do, the prodrive one will be the same shape just not have the 2nd cat in it, that nur spec should be fine as the floor pan is that same
  10. Do look nice [emoji51] They have an ra on their site for 11k but it's a bug, and I know your stance in bugs haha
  11. Would love to be a fly on the wall in your house when you tell the misses. ' i'm just off to view a couple of cars' When you back? December ! Haha I'm gonna dig out all the paperwork for mine later, I know that the bloke who sold it to me imported it himself but he does run a garage business.
  12. Cheaper road tax too !
  13. I guess quite a lot go for that kind of price loads on torque for 9k new era seem to be around 10 11 ish So what you reckon 2k is to ship and the rest profit ?
  14. Somone on the foz forum got one on a Japanese bank holiday for a steal as there wasn't as many bidding on it.
  15. Container best way then cheaper too by the time you've got two in. How longs a subaru ? May even get three in and sell recoup some pennies. Do it ! Do it !
  16. There was also an off green almost duck egg blue colour in my local dealer thought that looked a bit strange, i'd choose black over that all day
  17. Saw a black one in Harrogate yesterday looked very stealthy
  18. It's hard work, looked into it a while back as bargains can be had, i'd pay to get someone to do it, hence why new era and the rest of them charge you handsomely for the pleasure. You got to find it, Get it to the point of export, Get it De registered in the country of origin, and ready for importation into UK. Not sure how strict our laws are about seeds grass mud etc still being on or in the car Find someone willing to ship it, a RORO cargo vessel i far cheaper but then you risk the people loading/unloading nicking bits, container would be best. PAY for above shipping, insurance dock fees etc. Wait six to eight weeks and hope it's not been hijacked by pirates, Get it off the boat in UK, pay for storage, import tax, vat prepped for an sva if needed buy model report I'd needed prep for UK, fogs mph/kmh etc. Sva test and mot. Probably pay more tax along the line.
  19. Hand car wash I'll have you know ! I don't have anywhere to was mine at home at the mo, on the street with a bucket doesn't appeal to me [emoji26] And the folks don't have a hosepipe any more ?? (Bought stupid x hose blew up) I'm fooked if I'm buying them one so I can use it So 5 pounds every other week is acceptable. Been using my current hand car wash for years they know what they're doing ie not aiming the lance down the scoop [emoji35] etc. Plus I drove my van into the roof of the and killed a big !Removed! light, (was being watched in by a member of staff) so I feel I owe him at lease two washes [emoji51]
  20. Happened to be sat in the carwash earlier so took this on mine, it's old maybe 7+ years but I can't see them changing the interface that much unless yours is a fancy touch screen one
  21. Which kenwood do you have ?
  22. Had one on a Ford orion a family member had once, To be honest it didn't really do much more than when you tilted the roof, maybe a little less wind noise when fully open, I suppose that cars and are has come along way in 20 years so may be more effective nowadays. With regards to your Bluetooth coming through the front speakers on a call, have a look at the 'call settings' On my kenwood you have to turn it into standby then go to the menu, it brings up a sub menu where you can see the phone status and if you want to auto answer the call, weather it beeps and finally which speakers you want the phone to come through
  23. 40k not even run in yet [emoji16]
  24. How much do you want to spend terry ? 'Cheap' 1.5k up to however deep your pockets are
  25. It's the same on classics too just a slightly different shape facia
