  1. Welcome back mate, have you gone and bought another one then ?
  2. You may have trouble getting insured if it's not cat1 equipped. From what I can gather if you wanted to remove it you'd have to locate the 'brain' then chase all connections back, there's a fuel relay cut off integrated into the alarm and you'd probably need to get keys re coded as it's all linked with the ecu/immobiliser
  3. It will probably !Removed! the timing a bit if it thinks it's nocking, if it gets really bad it may go into 'safe mode' and not let you rev over 2.5k. Just reset and keep an eye out should be fine they are a common fail point
  4. I'm just tripple checking I can go haha then will sort out payment
  5. You having another alarm installed? 90% of alarm installers will remove the old on for free when putting new one in
  6. My guess I'd you'll have to find out the weights of both cars, can't be too much difference though. Work out the spring rates used and make a decision, based on what you find. Will they drop the car at all ? Last thing you'd want is a bouncy ride or one that's bottoming out
  7. Ooh into the inner circle now David ! Welcome [emoji16] I'm sure gambit will have the leather kit in the post soon
  8. Ash is the best person he lives locally, I'm in leeds, I did enquire on Monday when I was there but there was about 10 people in the garage and Martin had his head stuck in an engine bay, I'll message ash now for you and see what the crack is
  9. There is open source available for new age carberric ? I think it's called. May be worth sending a pm to mfnick as he had his blob mapped and I'm sure he didn't use ecutek route
  10. Been done mate went down the esl route as my97. Rick is in the lancs area and was having Andy Carr do his I think
  11. Since changing to wrx buckets these have been sitting in storage. Some slight ware on the drivers side bolster but nothing major £50.00 or open to offers [emoji3]
  12. Our friends across the pond would appear to have managed to get a 4pot swap using standard foz 16" wheels by using the newer flat wrx calipers with the stickers on as opposed to the older raised letter type. Looks like you need the hanger bracket and new discs an it clears the inner face of the rim by a couple of mm Does anyone access to a spare caliper that can be used to make a mock up or a casting ? Doesn't have to be in working order as it won't actually be going on the car interested in seeing if this will work with the jdm wheels but don't really want to fork out on loads of stuff before finding they won't fit
  13. Sorry I saw green label and assumed it was for a maf. Not an icv
  14. Come mot time if you have any illuminated warning lights or cel light it will fail, don't know if you could talk the tester round by explaining what you've done bit complicated though,
  15. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/11946-Gc8-bits-for-sale
  16. Someone in the for sale section had a pair for sale too. I'll dig up link
  17. I'll try and capture a better vid of mine for you it's not that quiet, people can still hear you coming
  18. Hi mate, we met at Richard Henry last year, yeah I've been down a couple of time last year always good as you say loads of different motors to see. I'll be going to a few this year
  19. I guess he's waiting for the guy who's car ut is to give him a price,
  20. The fronts will fit straight on but you'll need to change the rear strut topmounts to new age triangular shape from what i understand, not sure abiut the newage springs the seats may differ also, you will nedd a slightly stiffer spring for the rears as the foz weighs more than the impreza you could end up with !Removed! sag,
  21. I've noticed that now the power comes in earlier it sort of twists and wants to ***** an inside wheel when coming out of corners, gonna start with it on the middle bolt hole and see what happens
  22. Such a shame to see it being broken too !
  23. Picked this up today, will be going on as soon as I can get underneath the car properly without a world of pain
  24. Well mines a measly 13mm at the rear looks like a coat hanger ! Been after one for ages couldn't really say no. So I'm gonna use the bushes it came with and see how we go, have you had a play with the different settings & what did you think ?
