  1. I needed it this evening as the car was stranded at work, took the silicate stuff back and got some oat stuff no nastiness in it, just a pain not being able to get a hosepipe to the car, had to flush it out with 30l of water in bottles hah
  2. Could be anti roll bar bushes or maybe missing rattle clips on the pads ?
  3. Lack diamond pads and discs are supposed to be good
  4. Do you have a part number, I have a spare bulb for the key ring illumination so if it's the same I'll pop it in the post
  5. What should I use ? Jsut bought some etheleyne glycol based coolant which is phosphate nitrate and anime free but the guys in the shop said get the oat technology stuff ? Been reading and it say don't use in older cars
  6. Maybe I'll have to put it all back together tonight and pray it's not hg failure that's blown it all out of the rad, shouldn't be (touch wood) as boost increase was only 0.3 bar, and was running sweet, I had been loosing a little coolant so maybe it was the smallest of holes that let go on Tuesday night, new rad turn up today so will fit on dinner then bleed tonight. Is the one being broken the white one at martins ?
  7. Thoughout all the gears or any in particular? Not sure what newage cars are like but classics suffer from some drive train slop in between gearchanges
  8. I've not got round to doing the engine mounts yet. Been sorting other bits out, be warned it's a bit more noisy and whines a bit now, took my mate out in it on Friday he's not been in it since the changes, he asked if I'd had a wheel bearing on the way out it's that noticeable. I'm having coolant issues ie my radiator !Removed! everywhere Tuesday night so I'm waiting on one arriving today
  9. http://www.subarubits.co.uk/Rally%20Decals%20and%20Stickers?page=6 Basically if they haven't got what you want they'll make them
  10. Found this last night whist browsing what I can't afford, I like !
  11. Too much stressing about the concidental breakdown of my car a day after a remap [emoji52] getting it in the neck from the misses etc... anyway back on topic, there's a company somewhere on the Web that does all the stickers and badges for just about every subaru edition. I'll try and find the page,
  12. Sorry I'm an idiot for some reason I thought you had a foz sti ? To much on me mind.
  13. To be fair I wouldn't go on the v5 mine was imported as a gl na forester which it clearly isn't best way would be to run the bin number against the forester register
  14. What does the v5 say ? Bit odd that some one would go to those lengths to 'make' an sti. Which bits don't you think are I'm the right places ? It sits like one looks like one confused !
  15. New radiator on way should be here tomorrow so fingers crossed that's all it is
  16. Hello welcome, sorry to hear about your issues, clutch judder when cold is common on subaru's but I agree with your low bite point, I'd speak to the dealer see what the can rectify
  17. Sorry Steve, the car decided to spring a coolant leak last night so didn't get to try out the spare, anyway hers a pic of both of mine,
  18. Import car parts or scoobyparts.com are good to buy from here's my thread about changing bits, I got the gearbox crossmember bushes too http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9698-my-foz
  19. Right sorted, basically cos mine'mind's one of the 1st foz's it uses the impreza rad the one in the pic above is for UK cars. New rad arriving tomorrow should be up and running again by tomorrow evening
  20. Add another 10-15k onto that for a 22b they are rocketing up in price at the moment, there was one for sale on ph last month for 40k I think !Linky http://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/ph-spottedykywt/subaru-impreza-22b-spotted/31472
  21. this is the right part for the foz, unsure as to why it's different I know it was only changed a couple of years ago
  22. I put the sti gearbox mount in last month and the difference is noticeable, it's taken the lurch out of the gear change also change the pitch stop to harder rubber seems to work well in conjunction
  23. looks like an impreza radiator that's was in the car, foz one looks a different shape with no plastic on the end
