  1. Went into work early to make a start on changing arb & mounts, realised fuel filler pipe in way gave up until this evening haha
  2. Hello sorry to here that grr makes my blood boil. From what I've read UK spec classic impreza electric mirrors fit. There's also a breaker www.japperformanceparts.co.uk they may have some available
  3. Hi mate welcome looks nice, There's a monthly meet down at Sheffield subaru services, round the corner from medowhall. They'll be getting going again now the nights are getting longer
  4. To be honest I'm not sure about garages in leeds I take mine to an independent subaru garage in Sheffield. There's a place in Bradford called Richard Henry motorsprt that is a subaru specialist also. May be worth posting in the general section for help and garage advice as more people generally tend to browse there
  5. Hello sorry to here your troubles, 400 to clean the sensor is a bit steep, a new one should cost that much in the 1st place, best trying to source parts outside the dealer network www.importcarparts.co.uk is good and fairly close to you. There seems to be a lot of differing info regarding the code, normally the downstream sensor located behind the cat is the culprit, Have a look here for a bit more info http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f66/po420-cel-code-catalyst-system-efficiency-below-threshold-26140/#/forumsite/20556/topics/26140
  6. Hello, welcome you have a few options really, rebuild the engine 2k ish buy a new short block around the same cost, or go the whole hog and swap out a new long motor, all depends on how much you want to do to it and what kind of power your after, the rest of it should be fairly straightforward
  7. These have just arrived [emoji16] Considering I wasn't expecting them until the end of march I'm a happy bunny
  8. Yeah it will be correct import car parts know their onions For reference this is what's in mine at the moment http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=184&products_id=3330
  9. Hello welcome 2nd Steve ' comments if your in the trade parts will be cheap and they are easy to work on, all you really need is two screwdrivers and 4 sockets for the majority of most jobs got 5o love jap cars ! Nothing wrong with saxo's but it's a completely different kettle of fish, plus bits won't fall off when they feel like it [emoji16]
  10. Hello sorry, there's not many foz owners around here let alone anyone with an sti. the forester is basically an impreza with a slightly higher ride and body. The sti sits lower than the normal foz so if your not too picky about ground clearance no worries. They tend not to have had the same abuse as some impreza have as they are a bit more under the radar. Early 2.5 engines had problems not sure about the sti ones you'd have to Google it. Are you looking at fresh imports or ones already here ? A bike wouldn't fit in without the seats down, maybe just if you remove the front wheel. The gtb would be a bit older and a lot tend to be auto's as for performance they both have around 280bho standard, the newer foz would be easer to tune as you'd be looking at a map and a few other supporting mods will easily see 330 and a load of torque.
  11. I ended up going other way, had ps3 when it 1st came out but all mates ended up with xbox so eventually switched when black ops came out. Also got fed up waiting for gt4 to arrive. I'm probably gonna go next gen in Nov will be 2 years old by then so maybe time to upgrade haha
  12. Gutted mate ! Hope it gets fixed ok, I've got a better one, My mates just pulled up to pump at asda petrol station, guy at pump in front finishes pays gets in his car sticks it in reverse and proceeds to drive half way up his bonnet, guy gets out and starts kicking off saying why have you drive into me, so they go in to view the cctv at this point the cashier is !Removed! himself. As the guy doesn't have a leg to stand on. He goes bright red and pulls out a wedge of notes. Pays my mate 250 bits and does one sharpish
  13. Like some weird terminator ? I've got the company name on the side of my transit so even if I look at someone funny they ring and complain, thinking a swift sucker punch bundle them in the back and dump them on the moors everyone's happy
  14. Looks about right, subaru did change the size of them a while back and there are differences between the blue and black filters. I know it's a blueprint part but Ipc won't sell you the wrong one. If I was you I'd pat a couple of quid extra and buy a genuine filter
  15. I'm going to patent a giant boxing glove on a scissor action that attaches to the front of your vehicle operated by a button on gearstick to deal with any unwanted pedestrians knob heads etc
  16. Just the govt being complete fools considering the most polluting vehicles on our roads are busses takes the ****. Just another way to do over the motorist. Trouble is all your sports high end sports cars don't get driven that much so in real world terms they don't pollute that much
  17. Came from cod to bf3 couldn't get my head round it at 1st took a month or so of getting raped now I love them both bf4 is just a more polished version of 3 really
  18. Amazon logistics ! What a set of complete tools to say the least, i'm fuming as the last two orders they have tried to deliver have ended in failure, obviously I'm at work so why not riing the concerige to accept my parcel like every other delivery company does, !Removed! knobbers ! [emoji35]
  19. Buy the cheap one and a decent trickle charger
  20. Have you had a go at googling it? as it brings up a load of stuff on why it won't fill have a look at the charcoal canister under the rear bumper, the lines get clogged and either need unblocking or the canister needs replacing.
  21. Ordered a new vehicle dock to get dash cam working again, and also have a bitwriter coming so I can get my new key for to work.
