  1. Ignore the post office and deal with UPS direct. We get it a lot with dhl at work so ring UPS pay and await goodies
  2. Gutted ! I'll see you Saturday then, I'm gonna get them to fit all my bits as I had to modify my spring compressors for the mazda rendering them useless for the foz :-(
  3. I thi k it's had it mine did the same looked like it was white hot on one side other was carbon have tou tried the green and black wires under sash to read codes ?
  4. I'm in the process of doing mine this week. Good indicator or how dead they are is to lift the rear arch by hand and let go not very scientific but you get the idea. Or get a tape measure and go from the inner lower edge of the rim to the body work. Not sure about your ride hieght at standard but mines 660mm Currently measuring 610mm :-( Which ever bod changed mine they only did one side so its the other one thats had it. tut tut ! It's not so noticable on mine as they stuck spring spacers on it
  5. If the lambda is unplugged you should be getting a cel light come up. Is it stored as an historical fault What did the old one look like when it came out ? Normally you can see how bad the condition is. Either that or the wires tend to go. Maybe the maff on its way out?
  6. You'll need something a little stronger or else you'll get saggy !Removed! syndrome.
  7. Usual stuff with smaller number plate finishers and bits like that. Usually has better standard equiment, more power don't have an alarm fitted as standard. Mine has large forester on the back instead of subaru lettering. The chassis numbers are shorter plus it's a 97 car, will say on your v5 if unsure too
  8. Good thing about mine being an import all the electrics are in the doors, where as uk cars I've seen have window and other switches plus low ratio box gubbins in the centre. 4 screws and the lots un done and out. Unfortunately none if my replacement parts have arrived this weekend due to courier incompetence so I've been sat twiddling my thumbs :'(
  9. I suggest you find somome with one and ask them for a ride, They are loud as hell and may be alright on a few video clips but it may get a bit too much if it's your daily drive obviously I don't know your circumstances but if you went a head and got one fitted and hated it in a coiple of weeks it's a lot of hassle and cash to put right
  10. Hi have you had it remapped for the bigger turbo ?
  11. Sat waiting for dpd to deliver my suspension goodies to an address thats doesn't exist. Company took my postcode down wrong. Hoprfulky couriers will have realised as they come her all the time. Fingers crossed or thats all my weekend activities down the swanny
  12. Should have a word get them on here, I reckon dog's getting a bit lonely if it weren't for trips to shout at the dealer !
  13. Hi mate, not sure about your question re dropping it all but if you speak to one of the scooby specialists around I'm sure they'll be able to help you out. I use martin & dave in sheffield @ sheff subaru service, they've answered many a daft question when I've rung up. As for bushes I'd just go for oem spec if you don't want the harshness of polyurethane ones, try www.importcarparts.co.uk for them, if you can't see what you want give them a bell as they'll probably have it in
  14. Were you down my way ? Theres at least two tribcea's I see around. One metalic light blue and another sort of an off gold, plus saw an xv in a horrible greeny colour in town last week
  15. Shame we didn't have oc showplates on
  16. Which part mate ? Theres seem to be a few bits on that photobucket link
  17. Ordered a load of suspension parts :-(
  18. I'm justvin the autofactors direct page now :-D
  19. Thanks for that, currently one's nearly dead and the rest are all saging all ovet the place so it's an emergency buy everything job and replace
  20. Do you have a link for kby's can only find stufc to fit the SG I'm guessing they'd fit but dont wat to take a chance
  21. Mr b, Thats what I was thinking but I could do with new tops too was just trying to get the entire package cheaper as I didn'd really want to buy any in the 1st place. Had kyb's in the past and found them to be good, whats your opinion on the pedders stuff ? Sorry I was typing the reply as before seeing your other post :-D
  22. Now I'm slightly confused as various foz websites recommend a 6/5 fron rear rate where as bc website is 8/6 Although I've read that that combo makes it unbarable as a daily drive. Going on weights of models the sf has the least kerb weight but highest front spring rate ? I'd have thought that it would be more in line with the classic impreza set up due to there no being much difference in weight
  23. Damn you ash your not doing much to put me off buying them hahaa !
  24. Can anyone tell me what the standard spring rates are please? Lookiing at replacing the suspension, one bc kit lists replacement springs at 8kg/mm at the front and 6kg/mm rear, I think this may be too much.
  25. I'm looking at the pedders kit for foresters so guess it's a straight swap ? Wasn't even planning on taking the bottom swing arm off just unbolting compressing spring dropping the tops and wriggling out. Is that possible ? It's worked on other cars I've done If I went for the coils would anywhere that could do 4wheel alignment be able to do the camber plates properly ?
