Finally fitted a new stereo into my forester went from single din to double din (alpine) now I've just got to make it sit flush with the dash thought it went in to easily so that's my job for the morning getting it to sit flush :)

How I see it, it's not a real mans job if it doesn't have scenes of an explicit violent nature and strong language. Nudity that might be just me so we will leave that out ;)

Shampoo'd the inside. Looks brand new. Has made me realise the door cards material is in need of a clean though.

As for me I've spent most of the weekend fitting the cusco decat , air intake temp sensor and relocating my fuel pressure regulator :-)

Dropped misses in town picked her up 4hours later !Removed!. Drove to chippy and home before realising the boost gauge is showing 3.0bar constant. I think it may be duff :-( lol

Went out to the lakes (not in subaru :( ). Saw 5 Subarus while out and about though! Inluding a blob eye red bull rally car, looked pretty sweet :P . I rarely see another Subaru and trust me to see loads on the day I'm not in mine! Also saw a wagon heading south on the M6

Set fire to my brakes! Guess I've missed her a little bit :)

Thankfully not i'd have expcted to see half the engine on the floor if it was haha :-D now showing a more sensible 0.8 on full boost

Be getting plenty of air in at 3.0bar though eh?

I aint done anything special today, but i do love the comments other people say when getting in my car. along the lines of,

 

"oh what a lovely car, what is it?" "well, its a subaru love...."

 

or

 

"oh, how lovely and clean your car is"

My spoiler had a slight rattle so decided to give it a tighten up... turned the nut less than a 1/4 turn and SNAP :(  so now I am feeling very sorry for myself and have no idea how to sort it

I normally get "Can you just F@cking untie me"   

I get comments like "what is that, I've never seem one of those" sometimes from Subaru owners. Usually from people that bought Nissan Qashqai or similar and are starting to wish they hadn't.

Oft be get a comment along the lines if "I wish I'd known about this before I bought (insert generic SUV)"

They have a couple at the local dealer had a good nosey round last time i was there, they do look good see a couple up near harrogate on my travels. That and a tribicea or what ever it's called.
