  1. Nice one mate I'm on Lincolnshire Subaru owners club none of them seem to be members :) But I don't mind either way. For me Subaru ownership should never be about rivalry between clubs or mods on your car. We all wave when we pass a fellow brother in a scoob, work as one is a better way, if they have members that want to talk **** fuckem thats the type of people that was never welcome here in the 1st place and I hope they sell up soon ;) . Only thing that !Removed! me off is that they had a member come here and say Hi, less than 30 minutes later started spamming about them, now I have no problem at all we're not an Impreza club we're a Subaru club and welcome anyone here. I don't hold the full club to account be wrong of me to judge. But didn't even give us a chance to reply before going on to say how great it was. :( Maybe after 9 years I've started to see the bad side of Subaru ownership I just hope I'm wrong and Scooby.net isn't just a one off
  2. No worries I will cancel it and go for dinner anyway :D And sorry to hear about your uncle hope the send off goes well :(
  3. No she's not watcer8ptrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrntrns.................
  4. So where we meeting up I have the Hotel booked near the motor arena will be there in the day time Missus wants to go round !Removed! Meadowhall :(
  5. I'm trying to get her to do a charity event for the local hospital's children's ward too, but that would be a raffle. And get rid of these !Removed! horrible wooden dolls house that cost about £90 each retail cost I can't see her selling them very quick lol..... I shouldn't say that really should I ;)
  6. Right guys the Missus is doing a competition thing. Once she has 300 likes on the Facebook page she's going to randomly pick a name from the list to win £20 toy which can be picked by yourselves and posted too you if not local...... Just think of the amount of Play Doh I could get with that ;)
  7. Thats whats gutting we only need another two and japfest two was pretty good turn out in the end I thought we would have had this bagged quicker. I know the month isn't like summer time but meant to be pretty nice until the end of November. I know it's silly but people do judge a club by the events like this. We have members just not all interested in going to event's which is fine but to get ten I didn't think would be so hard now with doing both japfests :(
  8. Atleast with cars like this you can add your own touch without worrying about making it look worse ;)
  9. Gambit replied to ScoobySTI's topic in Wales
I'm sure some of them have signed up I know we get loads posting in the new section but some don't follow it up with much more so keep spamming here lol ;)
  10. If the synchro mesh has gone and stopping 2nd gear thats a full gearbox replacement and worth doing the clutch at the same time, so make sure you know what it is and budget it to the price if you go for this one. and does look like needs some work so I think be worth leaving it I know it's hard to walk away and even more so when the scooby bugs grabbed you lol :) but be worth it in the long run.
  11. Thats sounds more like a better price :)
  12. I think thats best bet and as you might have guess your forum skills are good I can see the reply ;)
  13. Mpg

Gambit replied to Rick 2014's topic in General Subaru Chat
I just close my eyes now and hope it will all go away with regards to MPG = SPM (Smiles Per Miles )
  14. we had a member that had bought a car and updated with a bootleg disc it stopped it working until he got an original version. I'm guessing they have some sort of key encryption. Not impossible I'm sure to get round it but unless you know what to do.
  15. it's belt mate and roughly recommended every 45k miles or 3 years I think it is which ever one comes sooner
  16. Gambit replied to ScoobySTI's topic in Wales
ScoobySTI sold up I believe have lot's of members from Wales though just not sure on areas :)
  17. Had something like this happen with a car I sold to some dope heads from Hull. Came and bought the car on a Sunday about 3 to 4 hours later Police on the phone asking if I had sold the car as it was involved in an accident. Luckily I had proof of the sale and they had court the driver running from the scene. :( As you can guess monday morning sent off the slip to DVLA and rang my insurance straight up.
  18. A real pain in the !Removed! to do but if you're confident enough to do them yourself I'd save the money but that cost does seem a lot of money for spark plugs to be changed. Is that a mainstealers ?
  19. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I think the I drive isn't working with the ECU light on as it's like a safe/limp mode. Best bet is getting the codes read mate just to be sure. Three ways you can do it get a bluetooth dongle http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2060778.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0&_nkw=OBDII&_sacat=0 and the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque&hl=en_GB will let you read and delete the codes. or if it's new return it if it has warrenty left for the garage to fix it Or if you have a friend in the business that can read them for you. But be grateful if you let us know what the outcome is
