  1. Are they these? http://www.wheelheaven.co.uk/wheel_Spec-C-alloy-wheels-by-Lenso_300_0_index.php
  2. What are you replacing it with - another scoob?
  3. Wotcha and welcome - did your brothers bug have a different induction kit fitted? An aftermarket kit should give you the noise you are looking for. http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=47_66_611
  4. - you could get adjustable damping if spent a little more on the struts, that will make a difference on the roads as when on the hardest setting they can be very firm
  5. Agreed - cat does not have to be visible - I know some places are going looking for DPF's (didnt help that idiot reporter who clearly had no idea about the workings of an engine exposed a load of mot garages that were not checking it) but as far as cats are concerned it was purely related to emissions if it is within tolerance then there is no problem cat or no cat
  6. Wotcha and welcome - I have seen JDM import STI's with auto boxes and paddle shifts not seen any UK WRX autos just the NA engine versions here is a saloon on ebay - if the setup is similar to mine you will be able to get paddle shifters for it as well http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-STI-A-LINE-JDM-Sedan-2-5l-300HP-with-Quickshift-gear-box-/322418309582?hash=item4b11a0f9ce:g:0ZkAAOSwmLlX9WKH
  7. As above if you are doing most of your driving on the road go for uprated shocks and springs.
  8. the VIN might not work as it is a US site - means a bit of trawling through the parts diagrams. Pole position, Subaru City, Midland Scooby Spares all break cars regularly and are on facebook
  9. There are various breakers around the country that may have one in - check this link to see if the part number is the same as other years http://estore.subarupartswarehouse.com/Subaru_2006_Impreza25L-5MT-4WDPremium-Sedan_Subaru2005-2009.html
  10. Wotcha and welcome - link to some good info
  11. Was it a new aftermarket item or from a broken motor? Should last you longer than a year if it was a new aftermarket replacement. Have you checked the voltage across the battery terminals when car is running, are you belts all in good order - not slipping?
  12. dependant on model from a performance perspective the ppp pack tends to be freer flowing intake using panel filter or in some cases a different tube a freer flowing cat back exhaust or back box and a remap - the link has the Prodrive details http://www.subarupartsstore.co.uk/index.php/prodrive/
  13. yup those vents on the STI are clip ons
  14. Yes quite the desirable motor - some nice mods straight from the factory
  15. Wotcha and welcome - a scooby in its element
  16. Wotcha and welcome - start a for sale thread on here and include some pictures, doesn't cost anything and you can gauge feedback accordingly
  17. Wotcha and welcome - awesome motor there chum
  18. Wotcha and welcome - do like Type R's / P1's me
  19. Wotcha and welcome - plenty of fozzie owners on here with varying states of tune etc
  20. Fantastic - nice one buddy!!
  21. Wotcha and welcome Keith - some nice motors you have had there
  22. The ITB's would be dependant on what your flow requirements are - at a basic thumb in wind check diameter of the existing manifold or an STI manifold (not sure if any difference) take into consideration any increase in size you would be making to the manifold with a porting tool and that gives you a size to start researching what is available. Yes I would suggest an after market ECU to translate x4 feeds from the ITB's, plus if it was me going for ITB's I would be modifying the exhaust manifold with additional wideband sensors to ensure each cylinder is getting the air fuel ratio spot on - otherwise why go to expense and trouble of ITB's? Jenvey are a good make but are at the higher end of the price range. The MAF will depend on how you modify the manifold to accept ITB's - if you integrate and retain a single air feed to the manifold you could keep the MAF
