  1. Number edited just in case - if you work via the PM's to exchange details like that - besides I know Gambit likes a challenge dont make it too easy for him

  15. Wotcha and welcome - my splitter was all push pin connections - shouldn't be too much of an issue to remove
  16. Wotcha and welcome - great save!!
  17. Wotcha and welcome - The PPP changes for your model were a Prodrive back box and a map as the back box was apparently less restrictive. Prodrive was stamped on the x4 end cans so should be easy to tell if it is genuine replacement. Whilst the PPP map will help against potential ringland failure I would still recommend a specific remap for your motor as the PPP one was generic. My 330 didnt lose much oil between changes so if you start noticing a significant drop its worth getting it checked out

  19. Jeez buddy - really sorry to hear that
  20. Wotcha and welcome - 2.5 gives slightly more oomph lower in the rev range, both similar at mid to top end. Petrol consumption is all down to your driving style but both can return 30mpg on vpower. auto v manual. Again I would say this is down to where and how you drive - I find the auto box on my current Scoob frustrating when pushing on a bit as it hangs onto high revs in both normal and sport mode + seems to spend too much time thinking about what gear you are in when you floor it off an island or to over take meaning a dramatic pause before acceleration. That aside the box is smooth through the gears but dont buy an auto of that year if you enjoy 'driving' your motors
  21. Plenty of views on this subject - I like EBC - dont go for the £20 option as whilst they are great pads for general driving they heat up and fade quickly after a few miles of spirited driving. Mintex ones I found great but wore out too fast Black diamond gave good performance and reasonable longevity Consider replacing your brake lines with braided items and giving your system a flush through with 5.1 fluid also
  22. Wotcha and welcome - keep us posted on progress
