Bottom Ball Joint.
Glad to hear it has been sorted - did you soak in penetrating oil?
-
Which oil?
drop Oilman a line (Opie Oils) for a recommendation as you have a non standard car - you can also take advantage of the forum discount being a member http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/user/609-oilman/
-
What Discounts would you like to see?
Yup decent tyres with discounts would be useful but I understand they don't make that much on tyres as it is and the business model is about having them fitted to stay afloat

Hi all newbie from moray scotland
:o first example I have heard of that happening on an STI hatch - really sorry to hear that RA developments could help you out with uprated engine internals or a complete engine if you have really deep pockets http://www.ra-motorsport.co.uk/Home/Pages/contact

Where to buy a Forester front grille badge please?.
I think from a breakers you would be looking at the grill as well, its not worth their time trying to separate the parts

Subaru oil seperator mod
You can fit the tank and empty every so often or have a return to the sump - leaving the sump out is simpler and you can get tanks with level windows on the side to see how full its getting. TLag has done a breather system on his Legacy project build - has initially doubled up on the tanks but I dont think you would need to do that. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/3910-my-buildconversion-project/page-7

Lee's STI
If comfort is a priority is for you these units wouldnt have been, they were track orientated BC's - ER's I think
-
Lee's STI
pity you couldn't stretch the budget for the coil-overs a little as Fozzy had a primo set of near new BC's going a while back but they were £950 I think

4 pot caliper upgrade for WRX-S hatchback
in the short term try changing the pads for some EBC red stuff as Salsa did - great pads with more bite also whilst you are considering the caliper change budget for some braided hoses as well
-
hot wheels lol no literally
def go for caliper - overheating can cause bearing damage but it normally over an extended period

New to the Subaru way
Wotcha and welcome - nice looking motor you have there - if I was you I would ring Subaru directly with the vin number get it from the horses mouth, they might even be able to generate a certificate for you?
-
Lee's STI
that is a tidy motor the light mods look great my 2p for the mods black mesh - yes splitter - keep it black wheels go anthracite rather than black as the black makes the rims look smaller
