  4. Sorry about this - thought he would be more on the ball considering he stipulated the process in the first place - but hey as far as Im concerned not toes trodden on you have approached thus in the right way and have my support ;) but stop posting pics of tasty machinery when I have no pocket money!!!
  5. I dont think you will be dissappointed - its not blue and not completely standard but this is one of the best examples I have seen in months and would own it myself given the funds https://www.flickr.com/photos/rach108/15176389642/in/photostream/ http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/9463-mates-sti-blob-widetrack-for-sale/
  6. reads like you have some experience buying and selling specific cars...have you owned subarus before?
  7. yup they could have put some hoover pipes on it somewhere for authenticity :D Gambit as its a purely track only bike an ACU race licence will be sufficient ;) speed the article suggests a theoretical 240 - 260mph but reality means if it is geared that way you would be shifting out of first at 110mph (tee hee :P ) will be keeping an eye on this one for sure
  8. Wotcha and welcome - keep us updated... also gives me chance to repost one of my fave bugs I wasnt a bug fan until I saw this... snapped by Gem at the NBO

  13. Wotcha and welcome - not too far from yourself... http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/8780-a-drive-into-the-peak-district-and-meet-up-with-other-subaru-clubs/
  14. I wouldn't have a problem with that if the mounting itself is still secure to the tube - a spot of weld if you are not happy would fill the hole
  15. nice looking car - agree its a little expensive - only thing I would question is why the calipers have had to be helicoiled given the service history, was it accidental or did someone bodge something along the way - this would not stop me buying the car though so dont let that put you off it
  16. Wotcha and welcome - contact Midland Scooby Spares and see if they can help http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/user/3130-midland-scooby-spares/ http://midlandscoobyspares.vpweb.co.uk/
  17. as Matt says also bear in mind irrespective how much you spend on building an engine a bad map will trash it - running lean or too high boost will run high risk of detonation. You can have a remap and not push the limits of a standard engine and still run safely within its design parameters
