opinion on classic
Yeah its a bodge job 2 door. Daft thing is for the money he spent having it converted he could have bought a proper type R. To be fair i've seen worse hatchet jobs, although what its like up close you'll only find out when you see it.

Guess the coilovers
top mount looks different to KW and isnt HKS coilover gold? HDS is green. D2 maybe?

Turbo upgrade
depends how far you wanna go, top mount will be at its limit if you do much more so your looking at front mount, then maf becomes an issue so wanna look at going aftermarket ecu (syvecs is by far the best but not cheap), then you have injectors, fuel pump etc etc SC36 or SC38 will be a good step up, or an sc42 if you wanna break the 400 mark, bearing in mind above.

Why do you love you scooby?
The look, the sound, how it drives, the power (bear in mind i'm not running standard power anymore haha)
- First Subaru, any advise welcome

Possible blown turbo
As above, sounds more like a pipe failure somewhere than a blown turbo. Tend to get oil pass through when they go so would be pumping out smoke from the exhaust.
-
Head Gaskets
Be aware headgasket failure on a 2.5 is a full rebuild job including bottom end. When the headgasket fails has a nasty habbit of pinching the crank bearings and damaging them meaning they fail very very soon after if not replaced.

What time is enough to warm up subaru legacy twin turbo?
5-10 miles, takes a long time for the oil to get up to temp

Keith Michaels - experiences?
You want to speak to Gary moulson at keith micheals, he specialises with scoobs and evo's, and just ask him any questiosn you have. They also cover mods like for like if you want. Been with them for donkeys years, there is an option for claims when you ring the main office number. He can be hard to get hold of cos hes mega busy with folks ringing him.

Can only reiterate my quote above, JCT are building a decent reputation. Member on here picked his up yesterday, straight over to a specialist for a once over and it was given a clean bill of health inc dyno run.- New to forums
Judging by the graph they ran it in Australian mode,,, haha Glad it's all good.- Re map tomorrow

If not, http://scoobyclinic.com/contact.htm give em a bell and let them know your coming for a dyno run, cant remember how much they charge for one so they can confirm it over the phone, alsocan get em to give it a once over as well.- New to forums
JCT seem to be building a decent rep, not only with the cars they sell but also standing up and sorting it if something is found to be wrong post sale. http://www.jctcars.co.uk/used-cars/subaru-impreza-2-5-wrx-4dr-rotherham-201612090485047 as above, need to confirm exactly whats been done to get it to 320. Needs be pop it over to scoobyclinic and chuck it on their dyno before you head home- New to forums
Welcome. As above, ET all the way.- Thinking about a Hawk...
Haha, no probs. Not all fail, just a higher percentage than typical for an engine. Built right (forged etc etc) 2.5 is a cracking road engine though, got one in my type r - Am I making a mistake?
