  1. Price depends on what spec you go for. Best advice if your aiming for a target find a tuner your happy with, speak to them about options and targets and go with that. Wrong spec and mismatching parts could mean a total dog of a car. I would stay clear of rcm parts, expensive for what they are and not always as good as you think.
  2. My advice, do the pistons. There well known to be a failure point (ring lands) and you don't want to rebuild it to then have to rebuild it again replacing everything again.
  3. with photobucket nope, you can go in and download them all though. Tis a tad of a ball ache if you have used it for a while because you have to do it folder by folder. short version, pay or go to another site.
  4. sorry by stopper i thought you meant the ones they sell under the name of gobstopper
  5. where ya been hiding dude? yeah when it works its great
  6. haha nice
  7. first thing is its got 120k on it so fair few miles, also it says ppp but it looks to have an aftermarket exhaust so no idea whats happening with the map.
  8. Anything with RCM on it will be twice the price for no reason.
  9. wrx will prob be about 40% the value of a sti, a forged engine will prob add 2-3k to the price of a hawk sti. 5k for a blob wrx is strong money
  10. alcatek is a full stand alone ecu rather than software, its decent enough but the customer service is so bad i couldn't recommend it anymore
  11. will be a wrx i expect or something seriously wrong.
  12. The 2005 blob had upgraded running gear, DCCD and face lifted interior, tends to pull a price than the 03/04's.
  13. Welcome, blob sti would be the one to go for given the budget. wide track version will prob be over budget so will be a 2003/2004
  14. Welcome. First off run it on vpower or tesco 99 only, oil changes every 5k or 12 months (unless yoru doing track days, but thats a different kettle of fish), regular servicing and if it develops a fault don't try and drive through it, back off, keep it off boost and get it looked at by a specialist asap, takes a split second to fry an engine.
  15. Just hope you havn't damaged your engine. Never ever try and drive it hard after major mods without it being mapped.
  16. im not going im afraid.
  17. welcome
  18. Engine tuner down in plymouth, scoobyclinic up at chesterfield.
  19. not really sure whos any good down that way im afraid. but its worth traveling to a decent builder.
