  1. Not too sure on the front, grill seems a bit too black if you get me. Think the top of the grill below the bonnet needs to be a different colour.
  2. Don't think its a simple as just cutting a whole in the roof. Ok this is a new age but I doubt its that much difference. http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Projects/InstallingASpecCRoofVent
  3. I've run both nitro and momentum, performance wise nitro does seem to give a little crisper throttle response at least in my mind it does probably a very minuscule amount in reallity. Mpg no noticeable difference, but then I'm doing daily commute no A or M roads. Rewards Momentum far outstrips Nitro who seem to have cut right back on the rewards. Plus filling up with Momentum adds to the club card points you can use on Fuel save.
  4. Who looked at it and who are you takeing it too out of intrest? Just your local to me and I always use Surrey based companies.
  5. Or just buy some AP or Brembos, go on you know you want to:)
  6. Yeah I'd be happy to give you a spin. Although it's not a Factory 330s it is a Prodrive pack version running the same BHP. Just doesn't have the start button, recaro seats and factory satnav.
  7. I'm not saying the washable ones are bad, just that there are down sides to them. As the Cossie one has in having to replace it. They both have their pros and cons. The maff issue is more prevalent on the classics. Due to the maffs age, they are a weak spot on the classics. New age won't be much of an issue till later in the cars life.
  8. The Cossie is not washable as its got a much finer weave than piper cross so does a better filtering job. Bear in mind you have spray a coating of light oil onto the washable ones so they trap the fine particles, overtime this oil will work its way through the induction system having coated the maff sensor on its way. Obviously this isn't over night it take a long time to build up. Horses for Courses at the end of the day.
  9. theres a sticky here.... http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1619-help-check-guide-buying-1st-subaru/ Its a guide on what to look out for when buying. Its a bit of a trip but Surrey Subaru Club have a monthly meet every 2nd Sunday of the month, your welcome to pop down and have a chat. next one will be 08/11/14 Full address for the pub is: The Fairmile Portsmouth Road Cobham Surrey KT11 1BW
  10. To be honest if you are losing it in the damp/wet on roundabouts, I'd be more inclined to say it's down to the right foot (hooning it) than the tyres :p
  11. Pin hole in the radiator. I had more or less the same problem, on my classic spent months chasing non existent airlocks, replaced hoses, had a sniff test kit ready just in case. It was eventually traced to a minute hole in the radiator. Fitted a new rad and that fixed it.
  12. Not much more to add tbh, just make sure the service history is comprehensive. and make sure you have decent duration test drive.
  13. It says to replace at normal service intervals.
  14. It took me two tries to do mine, but that's because I used a heat gun the first time which is far too aggressive. Second time used a hairdryer and it worked like a dream, start with the smaller lens 1st so you can get used to how it works and you'll be fine :)
  15. Ahhh I see now :D Can't say I've noticed them on any HB Scoobs, and I know Salsa's supplier does carry them in stock. They also have a red overlay with smoked insert for the smaller lenses.
  16. I've never seen smoked lenses, the only option I've seen is for the clear Fog light replacement like mine and Salsa's, means you need a red LED bulb to use it.
  17. silly question, but when you say the back kicks out are you coming off the accelerator? at the time? Scoobs suffer from liftoff Oversteer. As has already been mentioned tyre pressure, the only other thing I can think of is Crap tyres TBH, if they are a budget make I think that's the most likely cause. If you can go for a better make of Tyre like Falken, Goddyear, Vredstien, Toyo, Yokoham etc.
  18. I think I have 1 set left. Will have to check when I get in after work.
  19. great news :)
  20. Worldwide it was called the Leone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Leone
