  1. Knock the idle up to 800rpm and I'll see over two bar on tick over
  2. I'd buy one and swap the one in the top of the system 1st as they are quite expensive, be a shame to but two when may not be needed, of the code goes then happy days, if not stick the old one back in and swap new one with the one you haven't swapped, again if goes out happy days. That way your not spending un necessarily.
  3. What does it idle at? Obviously weather plays a part too mine idles at 700 rpm and I see anything from 1.7 to 2.3 bar, depending on how long the engine has been at operating temp, I wouldn't worry too much, keep an eye out for the next couple of days see what the average is, could just be down to a different oil
  4. Yours is a 2001 so will be the last of the v5/6's it may even share some parts with newage bug eyes being an ej205, as all the foz's I've come across haven't been as simple as just looking at the same impreza, yours may have a td04 I'm not sure, best off having a look at the turbo, if you look down at the hot side, 'facing you as look at the car' it will have a model number stamped on it Scooby ghost can tell you what a minefield it is as his ej205 engine needed different gasket seals to what was recomend when he called the dealer. Again I've had loads of problems getting parts,my maf is listed as a legacy part, the airbox to turbo inlet hose is a v5/6 measurement even though the engine is based upon the v3/4 impreza so if in any doubt measure twice take pics and Ask loads of questions ☺
  5. Whoop snow ! We've just got biblical rain here [emoji25] My maf cleaning looks like it didn't work that well and is playing up again. ****
  6. oil

I'd guess 5l will do you the 2.0 engine uses about 4.5-4.7 litres depending on how much you get out,
  7. I'm not sure about the exhaust housing or intake, diameters I'll have a search around
  8. I'm trying to find a pic for you I'll measure the dimensions and snap a pic of the top of gear knob
  9. Dave, any chance of you being able to make up a six speed Saab gearknob selector decal ? It's a bit of an odd Shape
  10. But you said hello to a pile of papers with the Queens head on though ! And the next project on the horizon
  11. Just don't oil it should be fine
  12. Look for a 255 l per hour pump a bigger one than that is un necessary, the turbo will be a straight bolt up affair, just need a new up pipe to turbo gasket, you should have 440cc injectors they will be fine and wouldn't need changing until you wanted to go for 300bhp plus,
  13. Ah ok, have a look at the strut tower there should be the vin plate on top it will have the gearbox code on it will start TY5 I'm pretty sure a 75/90 gear oil would be fine
  14. From memory yours has a tf03 trubo, a td04 would give you a lot more power for relatively cheap outlay, the fuel pump would need doing to stop the possibility of it running lean when the boost is wound up, so before the map is a must, any non oiled filter would be an advantage, cosworth are pretty good, but it needs replacing every year, if you removed the 2nd cat that would free up some horses and not effect the running too much, Tf03 is 170bhp as stock so you may see 200 ish depending on if it can keep up, Td04 would see you pushing up to 270 depending on heads and how well the car takes to mapping, Best off emailing some mappers and see what the recomend
  15. Maybe not the best terminology there gaulson [emoji15]
  16. Just to make you aware, the heads on the foz are different to the wrx so you may not see as huge an increase as the impreza in bhp, real world you'll get more (no idea as to what til it's been dyno'd) I only got about 20-30bhp extra, but huge torque and mpg increase, can't remember is yours an import or uk car ?
  17. Hello [emoji2]
  18. Well worth the 5 quid or what ever from the bay, even if ut's juts to diagnose the odd code it will pay for it's self
  19. I'd go 5-30 or 10-40 tom that seems a bit wrong if you ask me, what does it take now ?
  20. 10% maybe not sure, may be worth speaking to them on phone as last time they gave me a discount code that was more than we'd normally get off
  21. This should tell you what it has http://impreza.co/ppp-subaru-prodrive-performance-pack/ As for the remap I presume it's just a standard ecu with prodrive map, so in theory you could just get ecutek put on and remapped that way
  22. Maybe drop one of the hatch owners a message as I'm not really spent much time under the bonnet of a hatch [emoji20]
  23. Drain plugs should be the big Allen nut or standard shape nut, cant exactly remember, on the bottom of the box, and the lower one of the two holes on the diff as you look at the rear of the car, the top is to refill, i'd make sure they both undo as you don't want to be stuck with an oil less diff, So crack the plugs off the diff and gearbox let drain, pop the lower of the diff plugs back on then fill diff with 75/90 gear oil of your choice until it comes out of the top hole, this is the level line so pop plug in hole job done, as for the gearbox refill this is the fun part, you'll need a funnel and some tubing to make life easier, fill up with your choice of oil Look between the intercooler and turbo and you'll see the oil box dipstick, this also doubles up as the fill hole,
