Uprated arb's
Boo [emoji20] I wasn't really thinking abiut them last month but when they were flagged advisories thought why not look at doing it all, dis you bother with the bar hangers matt ?

Uprated arb's
If they are the straight chunky ones then they are the same, I was more worried about the rear bar mounts to the chassis, maybe its just a marketing thing but whitleine want to sell me a kit to attach the bar to the car. Send us a pic of the droplinks when you have time and I'll let you know

Uprated arb's
Thinking about swapping the rather sorry looking lollypop stick like rear arb to maybe a 20mm one off an an impreza, do you think this will cause any problems if I just change the bar and bushes to the right size for the bar? Or will I end up twisting/snapping the mountings ? Ideally I'd get a whitleine one with the uprated mounts but budget isn't going to allow this for a while,

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
I normally find hand tightening then a further 3/4 turn should do it, can usually feel it 'nip' up with the seal. At least ours are simple to remove without getting too much oil everywhere. The mazda's was at 90% on the side of the block no matter what you did oil went everywhere :-( Got pitch stop form me mums far to foggy to do anything today though, just negotiating a price on another set of rims so I can have a summer set and winter set [emoji51]

I wanted to chop down the mother inlaws tree at bottom of garden she was adamant she was going to pay a professional to do it, he still ended up putting half of it through next doors trellis and patio furniture. Not laughed as much for a long time [emoji51]

Hot Front Discs
Yep depending on car the fronts handle upto 75% of the braking load as weight shifts forward under breaking, I wouldn't worry about it even if you went round the block to get a paper they'd be hot. If you think about it the car weighs around a ton and a half so only having 4 contact areas to slow you down will generate a lot of friction

a few pics of my project so far
How about both al la audi. Supercharger low down beans till the turbo spools up then more boost than you can shake a stick at. Your only allowed to fit it if you have the lift up button from mad max. Shame it didn't actually do owt still looked cool as f**k to a 12 year old me [emoji51]

Outback 2003 for breaking or project
You'd get more for taking it over the weigh bridge at your local scrappy than selling to a breaker [emoji20] Have you looked at getting a 2nd hand diff and finding a specialist in your area to do the work, you'll save a packet. Would be a shame to scrap or break it as it's bot got that many miles on it.

Induction Kit for Hawkeye 2.5l
Personal preference really, have you looked into just changing the paper filter for a more free flowing one like a cosworth or similar? Check out scooby world or scoobyparts.co.uk for various options
