Is It Hard to put a turbo engine in a na car??
Yes although from an engineering point of view not really but from time cost and parts it isn't worth it. Although I've just seen your post topic and the actual content, so are you buying an n/a car with a view to putting the wrx lump in later or are you dropping the n/a lump into the wrx ?

What does this mean??
Maybe he was just a !Removed!, I see random stuff all the time, people that get on my !Removed! are ones that are doing 20mph under the limit on well sighted A road who take offence at you passing them and start to flash you like they are protector of the highways.. I'll only flash some to day thanks or draw attention to something like the've left the filler cap hanging off etc

New diffs and box I think. Doable but pricey good for changing the bias of the car able to get the !Removed! out if you so choose

Lifting a Forester
does it only do it under load ? If so the springs may be old, mine came with spring assistors in to help, if you have the self leveling units in the rear they could be on the way out, Pedders do a lifting kit gives about 2" i think, new shocks and springs all round, may be worth looking at www.forester.org The guys in the states have loads of info on it, you can also change the subframe spacer blocks to give more room but it's a big job

Subarus don't like reversing ! Mine makes a right racket almost like it's not going in properly, must have been doing this for the best part of 20 years so i'm nkt concerned, just keep my reverse manoeuvres to minimuma and low speed

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
It's the stupid plastic turbo to cooler pipe tahts the pain. I've found if you get the throttle body collar on and the turbo hose aligned, put a large screwdriver or breaker bar on the 90° bend and gently lever it on whilst putting it into final position

The code of Subaru...........
Love you too gambit [emoji8] Theres loads of fozies near me but either driven by old boys or mums so don't bother waving, theres some young lad in a n/a one who keeps following me and having a look but never stops to say hi. Some impreza owners say hi as they know whats what, but others don't see really, suppose only having one small subaru badge on the ba k doesn't help. I normally get 'whats a forester' ?

That kind of budget will get you a host of options, is that for the wheels or wheels & tyres ? I've always had a soft spot for the rotas or volks/rays there aren't cheap but look the business in my opinion

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Fair do's , I knew it wasn't running right and it's already paying me back by saving money on fuel, bit dissapointed on the bhp figure but the gain in torque and way it delivers it's power is well worth the outlay. Man maths and all that. I reckon I'm ok for at least 20k on the clutch so I may go down the strip at santana pod this year David[emoji16]

And the fact is was mapped for jap fuel so was chucking half of it straight down the exhaust. Surely you n/a boys would get a bit more torque across the range and not need to flex the foot as much thus increasing mpg and less pain on the wallet ? Failing that buy a pair slippers [emoji16]
