  1. Have you got an odb scanner ? Least you can clear it. The only other way I think is to have it mapped out
  2. No worries mate, a proper gasket may help things ! Some cars don't like the vent to atmosphere ones and prefer the normal recirculation type, has there been any fault codes come up ? May be worth getting a cheap odb scanner and seeing
  3. clear the car then early morning play time [emoji16]
  4. Hello welcome, what dump valve is on the car at the moment ? It's an aftermarket one it may be sticking so not working properly. Some of them can be adjusted. Can you get a picture up ?
  5. To be honest I can't hear it over the transmission whine from the new mount. When I primed it with the hatch off it wasn't too noisy
  6. I'm easy mate your pub plan sounds good or the big meet [emoji51]
  7. Cool well I'll speak to ash see what his shifts are etc.
  8. Lol. Not wanting to hijack ash's plans, but been thinking about this and does anyone fancy a sat afternoon meet as it's warmer, daylight, and generally a bit nicer when you can see what's what lol
  9. Probably a good thing as he owes him about 3 weeks worth of butties !
  10. Figured it couldn't be anything to bad, it comes out of the pump and goes back into it via the earth so no way of fitting the new one unless I spliced into the connector. So the old black wire went to the earth on other side of pump and the black box earth wire connected to it. Along with the blue wire coming from the top of the pump. The guys as sheff subaru service reckon it maybe a voltage stabiliser, the only other answer I've found is that it stops sending false signals to the sender, who knows. Did yours have one rick ? Anyway a hundred miles done since fitting and seems to be ok.
  11. Lucky mate I couldn't see apexi's for under 400 last time I looked.
  12. Pic from the Last 20mins in the pub good job I'm only staying three doors down
  13. Ooh ! Interior or exterior ? You getting your name down for jap fest ?
  14. Any more on a date, many things to discuss !
  15. Got to dales via back roads, bit to quickly for the misses liking, made her feel a bit queasy, first time I've had a proper load in the car and it still pulls hard [emoji51] Things are looking up on the weather front too
  16. Gutted about the turbo, how much you pick the apexi up for ? Still looking bit the ones I've seen have been too much.
  17. Ah well got to keep the misses sweet [emoji51] closer pic for anyone who may come across the same problem,
  18. Not yet gambit will sort it [emoji51]
  19. Just tried to sync the new fob to the car, turns out it was locked by the installer and I need to get an authorised installer to unlock with a bitwriter [emoji35]
  20. It's all good mate we book through the club and if we don't make the numbers we get refunded
  21. Got a cottage in west burton till Friday. I love it up there it's only an hour away from me so I go up regularly either camping in summer or used to hire a cottage in winter up until a couple of years ago. Great driving roads I'll be going long way up through Grassington and over the top [emoji2]
  22. Fuel pump in, new key fob arrived and my front arb bushes have finally been dispatched. Away in the dales for a couple of nights tomorrow so looking forward to a nice drive on some country roads
  23. Fitted new pump today, greeted by an inch of dirt on the cover Obviously never been done horrible sock, Note the blue wire and extra earth running to a little black box ? Cue a couple of calls (thanks clive) Decision made to remove it all as had no idea what it was Nice shiny new one
  24. Yes mate loads of difference, I changed mine in November. The droplinks make everything feel stiffer and a little more responsive. The pitch stop is slightly different as mine was 15 years old so I could feel an immediate improvement as the rubber in the middle had fallen apart. My engine wasn't as wobbly on start up and it's again stiffened bits up. Downside is sounds like the starter is in the passenger footwear now. Small trade off
