  1. Looks really nice [emoji2]
  2. Hi mate welcome, sorry about the car glad everyone's ok though, As for servicing plugs are hard to reach ig you remove the airbox and washer bottle it's fairly straightforward. Google specialists in your area as main dealer prices are a joke. The layout ofbthe engine means it's fairly easy to work on. Remove the rad for belt changes and you can get at just about everything. Imprez's will handle just about all conditions apart from really thick stuff. I'm in the forester camp so have a little more clearance 66cm as standard. I'm sure yhe outback owners will be along soon
  3. I only had my phone and battery's pants so only got vids, shame about my thumb In bottom corner [emoji15] May even get mine on track next year. Can't be as bad as some peoples runs [emoji6]
  4. http://www.subaru-spares.co.uk/contact.htm try these in Hebden Bridge, theres also a guy on the other side of hebden bridge, I'll post details when I can find them. Also worth a try is a jap breakers in batley/dewsbury
  5. Pleased to report that it's not done it since so hopefully it was a one off
  6. heres mine tucked up under the brace, maybe worth just angling it down at bit ?
  7. Ah ok didn't know if you'd gone for polly ones
  8. I'll double check mine now
  9. What droplinks have you fitted ? Steve, my siren box is situated on the strut tower have plenty of room for brace too
  10. Look between the intercooler and turbo, you'll see a dipstick for the gearbox. You also have to fill it through that. A funnel and peice of hose comes in handy
  11. Almost like a clutch was engaged and trying to pull its self out. I'm off to check the oil level in a bit so I'll turn over and see. I did remove the belt cover to get to the crank sensor so maybe something was catching
  12. If it's a purple one you'll have to buy the whole lot @382 [emoji35] with other ones you can just buy the 'drop in' maf element. Most annoying
  13. Faulty knock sensors are quite common. Sorry about the backwards text I'm havong finger issues today
  14. No worries, a very no scientific way of testing the maf is to run the car till warm then pull the plug from the maf, it should stall straight away. if it continues to run then it's on it's way out
  15. I'd camp if it wasn't so close to home [emoji52]
  16. Anyone got any ideas ? Finished work drove to supermarket parked on a slight slope, went to start the car and it made the most horrendous screeching noise meatallic shearing sound when I turned the key. Obviously I stopped truning it over straight away checked everything over. No visible signs of anything Then re started fine, drove for another 2 miles all good. Seems strange that it's done it after an oil change or it's just pure co incidence, starter motor on way out ?
  17. No worries mate, just wondered of you'd manage to find as solution ?
  18. Hi mate, welcome sorry to hear about your issues To see what fault codes are stored in the ecu this is a good start http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2366-Manually-Reading-ECU-Codes The mpg figure does seem bad if even it it's over fueling I wouldn't expect it to drink that much. I'd check weather theres a leak anywhere, with regarde to cutting out does it do it when driving hard ?
  19. Barke ballance controller ? Clutching at straws
  20. Is that located near front wing above abs unit ?
  21. Changed oil to fully synthetic. Much quieter on start up.
  22. Haha notorious for going off topic ! Good news mate, get some pictures up !
  23. I know, thats the Chinese for you, prob madenin the same factory haha
  24. For that price you could get a really good cat 1 aftermarket alarm installed if you wanted,
  25. I'vr replied im.the other thread lol knew sav would have the answer [emoji2]
