  1. That's prob what's squealing if it's not under enough tension
  2. I've a dyno & afr somewhere just moved house so when I find it I'll post up, My car is in mph but the clock just has a bit of tape over the K so just recalibrated into mph it's a connection on the back of the clock I think you just change that. I'm on a td04 with sports cat 3" system, cosworth filter and an rcm fuel pump, loads of other bits in my gallery post, http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9698-my-foz have esl board in ecu so twin maps one v power and an emergency !Removed! fuel map incase. Mine didn't take to power at all as ours are more torque based the heads are different by all accounts, I got 220bhp and 250ftlbs. Need to get in on the dyno again as had a sticky caliper dodgy wheel bearing to name a few, would be interesting to see what it makes on a different one
  3. Just going for exedy blue box as not running much power, I'll just stick to what I have then, cheers for the advice
  4. I"d 2nd tidgy on the cobra stuff, not as cheap as some but well made and they knocked up &fitted a full turbo back for me in under half a day
  5. Hole in the radiator, but it Sounds like a Headgasket problem to me, subaru's don't normally get alot of mayo it just over pressurises the system and forces all the coolant out of the expansion tank
  6. Cars in for a clutch on weds and knowing my recent garage visits nothings ever that simple, so IF the flywheels knackered or won't take to a skim what's the cons of a lightened fly going in instead of an oem one ? According to the Internets the sf5 foz has the same fly as the old legacies which is heavier than the impreza of the same year. So that could be an option, but I don't want to loose drivability etc
  7. Hello & welcome looks nice [emoji51]
  8. Sorry bud, These are genuine http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=8750&cat=96&sub=103&sec=3006&var=51&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= You can just but the gaskets by themselves but prob worth getting the lot as you can guarantee the stud will snap if you don't have a spare, I can't remember what the stock fuel cut is set at, Mine is set to cut at 1.3 bar and is mapped to 1.2 so i'd just have poke around the Web see whats possible
  9. If it's a proper job wash/dry removal of old stuff then I'd say that's not a bad price, I take it yours has been sealed in the past ? If you can and have the means why not save yourself 450 quid get a wire brush some ramps a pot of underseal & brush and do it yourself ? Only takes about an hour and a half to do the floor then it's just the rear arches
  10. I presume It's de restricted but mine just sort of stops at around 120, thinking it's more likely to be due to it having the areo of a house brick !
  11. Mine just has a bit of black tape over k [emoji38] The conversion was done at the sensor I presume ?

I've been looking at the eibach ones how did the two compare Jay ?
  13. I managed to hack my top hose apart and shove the sender in with minimal loss but it wasn't the neatest just topped up and burped the hoses all was well,
  14. Should be but you never know, phils took about 4-5 hours but that was from scratch amd we had to go to halfords ! I'll check with the wife about Sunday, Getting it fitted in Sheffield by @sheffieldsubaruservice
  15. Should have just edited it myself [emoji38]
  16. So happy that you've made a start on the wiring, biggest part of the install if you ask me, Clutch going in next weds so hopefully a week on sat for the rest of the fitting ?

Every car makes different power, some take to a map better so you may make more or less, but you will get better torque mpg & an increase in hp regardless of final figure, As for the piston issues I believe it was Ringland failure due to running lean ? But there was a recall to address this, but always worth getting it on a dyno for a power run to make sure it's all ok
  18. Makes you look like an evo form a distance [emoji33]

I want to add 10mm in total so my wheels will clear 4pots, been a bit wary as people have always said causes more damage than good ?
  21. Could be water ingress, not many people have auto turbos so your in a minority, Td04 is stock on ours, euro models get a smaller one [emoji51] The actuator arms are all adjustable to some extent but it could be aftermarket Standard boost is .75 bar
  22. Looking good mate, that's half the battle the sender install should be easy (touch wood) I'm going for a clutch on the 17th so I'll pm you with a date to get it all knocked up
  23. Best bet is to have a look at the vin plate will have you engine code on there as for the bottom end I'll let someone answer that who's a bit better more competent than myself
  24. Shouldn't be there was a facelift around 96/97 I think but 90 % of parts will fit, have a look at HT auto's
