Should I buy?
At the end of the Day it's a fsh and documented mileage so I couldn't see ut being a problem, the dealer seems fairly honest are they including any form of limited warranty ? 112k is nothing many of us are way past that in cars that are twice the age and still going strong

New Subaru Forester Owner! I have some questions -)
She's driving an fsti so 260-270 standard, map and a few little nods will see those figures, Import car parts will have all gaskets etc I'll have a look At the end of the day it's a ware and tear item, My trubo gasket weaps when Cold just not got round to replacing it

Lol yeah ignore everything until you get to the turbo, the section before and the rest after it. Well those nuts look like they've seen better days as does the pipe, so depends if you want to go for any more power ? Standard replacment should be fine, if getting one from a breakers make sure it's not got a cat in it, You could upgrade to an sti one or something like a 'Harvey Smith trick up pipe' It's a pain in the !Removed! to get at so what ever you do make sure you have all replacement gaskets bolts etc before you attack it

boost problems
Just get it mapped to come in earlier [emoji12] Mine wheezes like an asthmatic donkey past 5k so no point going any further, almost like I'm driving a diesel [emoji23]

Quite a lot like this There's a couple of sensors extra in that pic as well as a cat in the up pipe which we don't have, Until you can pinpoint the leak i'd assume up pipe gasket blowing. Assuming you still have the plastic undertray the headers should still be fine,

Holy MPG Batman!!
You've at least 20 more before you run out, I reckon you should get a jerry can with 5l and play light roulette, Mine comes on when it feels like, managed 100 miles once with it on, (it came on when needle was half way between 1/4 /empty) Made a change as the 1st year I had her it never came on

boost problems
What where your mapping goals ? How much did the mapper wind the boost up to &do you have a two or three port soliniod Sounds like overboost as opposed to cut, I'd start by checking wasetgate, boost solinoid & hoses all could be a culprit,

Should I buy?
Hello & welcome, The subaru will be a massive step down in refinement and luxury, although the leather will go some way to cushioning the blow, with that mileage I wouldn't be worried especially with fsh, I'd check when the glow plugs where done and the dpf filter if applicable as the early diesels had some issues with these, but should have been rectified by now, What made you look at changing ? The foz is a very capable and robust , won't get stuck anywhere and even on summer tyres gets me out of muddy fields & snowy conditions with no problems. Just have to ask yourself if it's what you want compared to the lexus,

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Ipc have hubs for 94 quid each inc bearings, may be different for leggy though, may as well source all parts then pay a good inependant labour for fitting it all

Strange noise when turning right
