  1. I think with a heat gun and patience as your going for respray I take it your not bothered by the damage to the paint below, so could be a bit rougher and use a paint scraper to get underneath when warm
  2. I wouldn't say defeated but it's deffo taken one for the team
  3. I've hit a wall in me van today aswell so not the best day all round to be fair the wall didn't stand a chance

  5. Looks like that's been owned by somone who cares ! At the end of the day you could buy something cheaper and have to put load of money in at least that appears to have all the bist and bobs already sorted [emoji106]
  6. Could be worse least your not driving the whole way ! Got made to drive to Glasgow & back last year for a 45 minute meeting [emoji35]
  7. Hello the knock sensors are known to go wonky so a replacement should sort that out, as for the O2 sensor not sure about yours but most have two one pre cat and the other post cat. I take it the alarm is the sigma factory unit ?
  8. Clifford g5 will do all of that along with setting the ac if you wish and cool down timer
  9. Easely rectified by a course of antibiotics [emoji55]
  10. Would cure my early morning winter slap [emoji23]
  11. Mmm not sure to be fair, I've seen the block heaters before they just plug in to one side, of you have no joy here may be worth looking at or cousins over the pond as loads of them use stuff like that in the colder regions of the states
  12. Yay ! K ew you wouldn't be gone long, with that kind of budget your world is your lobster, could even look at some widetrack sti's or newer spec c's although would be at the far end of budget, good luck with the hunt
  13. Should do as long as you have the right diameter middle section
  14. Oof ! 9L [emoji22] what mileage are you on ? I do my oil ever 5kish as mine's fairly old and fresh oil never hurts just debating weather to go upto a 10-50 for winter to quieten down the engine a little
  15. Glad to hear it ! I put the predator pads on in the summer great improvment, interesting about the filter too
  16. Agree with ghost, that's a weird thing to be saying, the only thing the oil does is cool & lubricate it, has should have no effect on what it spins at, they rotate at 100,000 rpm plus so a different oil shouldn't make a blind bit of difference, I've been told fully synth is slightly less viscose than semi so in theory according to your chap it should work better ? What kind of power are you after ? A 3 port boost solinoid would help control the boost better, did he give any indication of it was holding ok or bleeding off stx
  17. I've got the sodding things in the rear too so couldn't be arsed the sub makes up for the tinniness from not having proper components in the doors
  18. Hello the manual box from the import may be of some use to a couple of people, could you have a look for the gearbox code ?it should be on a sticker on the bell housing starting with ty... and post it if you locate it Cheers
  19. You need component speakers for the tweeters to make any difference, so mid and low range in the bottom of door and high frequency in top
  20. Meguiars waterless cleaner as above i'd only use it if needs a quick detail at a show
  21. I had vibe 6.5 in front but we're too deep do swapped for the edge 5.5 as shallower, then some vibe 4.5's in rear along with the underseat sub didn't bother with the tweeters in door
  22. Mines not on there as didn't turn up on Sunday, it is from show in July though whoop
