Yoko for premium tires every time but currently got Pirelli pzero currently and seem to be good!

I'm also on Pirelli p-zero's too. Can't seem to fault them at the moment.

Currently running Conti's but have had no issues with Pirelli, Toyo or Yoko in the past would def get Toyo 888's for track time

I'm running Yoko Advan Sports at the moment, seem to be alright. Used to run Falken Azenis (spelling) in the States and they were fantastic. Tempted to see about the Pirelli's next time. Always liked Toyo's as well...

Every set of pirelli's i've used have felt wooden and not very confidence inspiring

2nd set of Vredstien for me at the mo, I've ran Toyo in the past and they always seemed a bit on the soft side and wore out alot quicker. Also ran Yoko parada's which were prob my fav's overall.

well i voted for toyo in the pole,but after fitting some uniroyal rainsport 3 a couple weeks ago i have to change my mind,coming back from brighton it was hammering down and lots standing water on m1 and all the tyres i have had before i have felt the car start to aqua plane at 80mph oh sorry 77mph  in them conditions,the rainsport 3 it was like the road was dry,they was great.with that in mind i thought yeah made more for the wet will not be so good in the dry,but no chucking the car round roundabouts and back roads i have to say they beat the bridgstones that was on the car before,so think they are my tyre of choice from now on.

Goodyear F1 or Michelin PS, had some good Toyo's in the past on a Turbo 2000 [emoji12]

My scoob had a full set of decent bridgestones on when I bought it and they seem decent in all weathers. I've had toyos on a few cars in the past and rate them highly, but the side walls are very soft. I think I'm going to try uniroyal rsinsports next cos it's always raining ☔️

Thanks, yeah I've heard a lot of good things about the rainsports. Deffo gonna give them a go next time round. 

Do not fit toyo to a newage, sidewalls are too soft, I've fitted some on my hawk wagon, grip is excellent but the car moves around A LOT on the sidewalls and really messes up the turn in and flickability of the car, apparently they are ok on classics as they are lighter. I've got t1r on mine

Think when the ying sing ditchfinders (nexens) on the back of mine need replacing ,I'll chuck a couple of firestone firehawks on to match the fronts .

 

As they seem to be a good all round tyre and after about 8k on my coilover'd classic they don't seem to show much scrub on the edges yet .

 

Dunno how they'd fair on a newage though.

Tyres vary so much. Wheel size, width and profile make a huge difference to each brand. I have little 16" wheels on my classic, originally had eagle F1 GSD3 and loved them. Unfortunately they're no longer made so I opted for Toyo and they've been fab.

Uniroyal rain sport 5 are the way forward I fit tryes for living I highly recommend this in all weather drive in rain in like drive on dry day

Uniroyal way forward

I bought my Subaru XV today and it came with yoko’s on it already. Need replacing so and not sure what to buy as a replacement. Something with good tread would be great without compromising things like rubbing etc
