Turns out one of the bearing seals wasn't sitting right, so an easy enough fix for them... the mechanic did unfortunately drop a socket and chipped my wheel. Thankfully there are defects in the paint from the original refurb, so they are all getting done again for free anyway... Said I would be happy with knocking 60 quid off my bill! You can see next to the chip the defects I'm talking about...

Wonder if they've bent something slightly while taking it apart? Not sure... not costing me any extra so as long as it's fixed today I'll be happy!
-
Well, got a call at 4:45 to say that my car was almost ready, they were just putting it all back together after pressing in the new bearing. Then got another call at 5:20 saying that for some reason the wheel is locked and won't turn! They are going to have to take it apart again and see what's going on... they reckon it's a defective bearing, or he's put it back together wrong (but I doubt they would admit to that!) They did put my car in their usual social media images tho :D

wait... forgot, use 5.1. 5 and 4 can't be mixed... so any leftover fluid in your lines will mix, don't think that would be the best idea
-
Cheaper now it seems... http://www.scoobyparts.com/hel-uprated-brake-hose-kit-new-age-impreza
-
HEL :D but not had any issues with them, had them for over a year now
-
You may as well go balls deep... no benefit with staying with dot4
-
Can't remember what my garage used... think it was dot5, difficult to tell if i could notice the difference as all my brake stuff was done at once, i would imagine the braided lines were what made the biggest difference
-
I've got the exact same discs... got them off ebay, came with brembo pads. Really good... I would recommend uprated brake lines if you haven't done them already

Dozy bint... if she pulled out it's her fault! Get yourself a dashcam mate!
-
Yeh it seems to be modifications that bump up the prices...
-
Nobody told me that Scotland isn't mainland UK anymore!
-
Booked in for an oil change and to get my wheel bearing replaced... Can't wait to get rid of the whining noise! (not my wife unfortunately....)
-
I'm not aware of anywhere in the UK that sells E85 yet...
-
Mine went up a whopping 40 quid... didn't really have time to shop around so just let it roll over... still pretty decent at £444 with the flux
-
Gold and black is a good combo IMO :D
-
Insured for another year of fun :D
-
Yeh they would be pretty much the same... but given the price, would wonder who actually manufactures it!
-
Maybe worth getting in touch with them, I'm sure they can give you a replacement
-
Yup coz that's exactly what I've got!

-
I would imagine so but not 100% sure

Yup, 75 quid plus delivery... I would personally opt for a new one http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=47_180&products_id=1292
