  1. Have you considered game sharing? Pay half price for games but you're stuck with a downloaded copy. For games like forza, they're keepers anyway.
  2. Welcome to the club Where in Essex are you? We have a meet in Kent but it's just across the bridge from Essex.
  3. Yeah sounds like the tracking is out. One wheel likely has more toe in than the other so instead of running parallel you have one wheel straight and the other pointing in. The reason that would pull your steering is when the wonky wheels "takes control" of the direction the front wheels are going. When you turn a corner the outside wheel is the strongest controller of direction so the inside wheel has little choice but to follow the direction. Have you noticed any squeeling or tyre rubbing during corners? Bit of a mess trying to describe it but basically have the tracking checked.
  4. Has the tracking, camber and balancing been checked?
  5. I believe it will confuse the diff. Without shafts to drive it will almost think the car is wheelspinning so power won't be applied in the correct way.
  6. Indeed. Must've been a desperate cost cutting and weight reduction option for Subaru to go for those original clamps. Horrible things.
  7. I was referring these clamps being the silly ones. Jubilee clips are far superior.
  8. What colour smoke are you getting?
  9. Those silly clamps? I don't know the name but they end up cutting into the pipe. My top rad hose blew and when I tried to undo that clamp it snapped. Had to pinch some wire nips from work to cut it off. Managed to do it with all other parts in place. Was a right fiddle though.
  10. Might be worth reporting it the local police station. Just incase it was for a clone vehicle.
  11. That was his best advice!? Cheeky crook.

How are the tapatalk updates coming?
  13. Sounds like drama. That picture shows the mileage too and that would've been documented at the point of sale and mot. It's a shame you're having such a bad experience with the dealer.

It was a much better show for Subaru. Vast improvement. Shame to see another in flames but apparently it was an oil. Either way it started the next race. I did hear one of the guys comment about the "increase boost" midweek and seemed to be narked about it. Some good racing all round.
  15. Couldn't have chucked the family pet at the windscreen and then claimed for a replacement?
  16. Send the dealer to a Subaru owners club forum or specialist of his choice to ask if they should be knocking 😂😂
  17. No suspension should ever knock on any car. Bad form Dealers that make a sale then couldn't care less.
  18. Do they just fit over the window? Like a wind the window down slot them in then pinch the window back up kinda deal?
  19. Consider doing the water pump at the same time. You'll probably be looking at doing all tensioners and pulleys at that mileage.
  20. I agree with Geoff. Fully synthetic all the way.
  21. Welcome to the club. Do you know when the cambelt was last changed? The sport specials look quite tasty. Does it still have the yellow seats?
  22. 10w40 fully synthetic for me. Helix is a middle brand. Miller's cfs is the good stuff. Do love an oil debate.
  23. You don't have a fuel light when the tank is empty?
  24. You could try some of the "specialist" insurers. I'm with Kieth Micheal's, there flux who always seem competitive. What price were you expecting or hoping to pay? I'm not sure on black box companies. Probably best to google for them. A tracker will help to drop the price a bit and a good certificated alarm system.
