  1. The only reason I haven't stepped up before hand is simply not knowing my situation. I will be going, it was just a case of when I could buy a ticket.
  2. I'm gonna have one [emoji5] [emoji41]
  3. Sounds like they're taking you for a ride now. I'd be asking for the old parts and invoices for the new parts that have been added.
  4. You could bypass the matrix for a few days to test it.
  5. The gauge will help you monitor boost should you ever have a fuel cut issue you could see if it's caused by overboost.
  6. Welcome to the club! Exciting times at the beginning of a fresh project.
  7. Window open, tunnel run. That's the magic stuff. Wiring is easy enough. Set aside a couple of hours, a swear jar and plenty of tea breaks.
  8. 3K revs in any gear? So it's governed by engine speed rather than road speed?
  9. Do you have a boost gauge? If I have the boost between 0 and -0.2 I get a lovely whistle when spooling up. Smiles all day long [emoji16] [emoji5]
  10. If you remember the reg, load that in the mot/tax checker. Prepare for broken hearts.
  11. You can use importcarparts.Co.UK for service parts. Great value and all genuine Subaru parts.
  12. I have a pillar/dash pod and wedge it on place with a Scooby doo teddy. It's just a single pod though. Wasn't wedge here for decoration. How about some Velcro?
  13. Remove aircon pump and pull bulb out of switch. Problem sorted [emoji12] [emoji5] [emoji23]
  14. Good price. Mine cost £640. Have prices dropped that much. Feel like a lemon now [emoji23] [emoji85]
  15. Your sidewall will be larger. Speedo may be slightly out now. 205/45 is 9.2cm sidewall, 245/45 is 11cm sidewall(leaving out the odd mm).
  16. Is that before dyno cost? The turbo did well there. How are you finding the earlier delivery now?
  17. To visually check a shock you're looking for an oily stain down the casing. It'll look wet or like it's had WD40 on it. You can feel it too if you can get your hands in. Could also bounce each corner although it's a bit of a primitive technique. If you test drive the car and it has failed you may notice that shock feels boaty and not as solid as the others. Excessive bouncing will also show a problem.
  18. Glad you've all enjoyed it 😊 I've had mine just over a year and the flashing never gets old. Just don't ask gambit to flash you. Nothing beats the feeling walking out in the morning and seeing a scoob parked up. Along comes that smug feeling "oh yeah! That's mine". Then you start attending meets and shows. It's a whole different feeling sat in traffic caused by 120 Subarus... I've had a good little group with me down south in Kent. All top bananas. They even came to my wedding 😏
  19. Sounds like more headaches. And for that reason I'm oot. [emoji85] [emoji125] [emoji125] [emoji125] [emoji100]
  20. Shared loads of headaches with you. Seen some top drawings though. [emoji23] [emoji12]
  21. I also use the cosworth panel filter on my classic. Keep in mind it's a servicable item due to be changed at regular intervals.
  22. Are you looking for a panel or cold air induction kit? General consensus is to avoid oil soaked elements. They cause havoc with mafs.
  23. Welcome to the club! Heard all about scoobynet. You won't find that treatment here. Jolly good bunch.
  24. Sounds good. Is that on a stock TD04 turbo?
