  1. If you are doing discs and pads I would invest in some brake fluid and flush the system if you dont know when it was last done. Over time it absorbs water which leads to fade and spongy feel on the pedal. Not a huge amount of money for peace of mind
  2. As above with the sound deadening take your time and it is easy to apply, I found a roller really useful, helped with air bubbles I got in a couple of areas.
  3. I do every 5k just because it is easier to keep track of 🐵
  4. Wotcha and welcome - keep us posted on your decision once viewed
  5. Wotcha - its possible as the bay is the same, bear in mind its not a straight plug and play with existing diesel loom and ECU
  6. It depends on if you want to keep the car - Engine tuner will do you a proper job that (maintained correctly) will last you
  7. Wotcha and welcome - Loving those alloys, feel free to get stuck in, all friendly on here
  8. Wotcha and welcome - check out this information put together with a lot of info
  9. Ok checking the dynamic sounds site I see it has the same offering for a LHD model - I take it you cannot move the ac button? https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/connects2-ct24su03-subaru-legacy-outback-silver-single-din-fascia-panel-lhd.html Also dependent on what unit you have a change may be a little more challenging https://www.crutchfield.com/S-bJOC9u2Q2GQ/learn/2005-2009-subaru-legacy-and-outback.html
  10. When this was asked before the ASC kit was mentioned - however out of stock currently but will this fit your motor? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASC-Audio-Install-Harness-Aftermarket/dp/B06XK91ZQS
  11. Hi to fit STI alloys you will need adapters - the PCD is different 5x100 for wrx, 5x 114.3 for STI
  12. They are often over looked - The ones on my daily need doing, not an mot fail but on inspection you can see age and miles have taken a toll
  13. I know some models it was an option you could enable / disable by programming or double clicking the unlock button on the remote fob. I take it they all lock ok from open when you lock the car?
  14. Wotcha and welcome - That is a wide open question with so many options depending on what direction you would like to take. Have a think about what type of driving you want to do with the car (show, daily, drift / auto course) then assign a budget then assign some budget contingency 😁 Once you have that start you shopping list.
  15. Low mileage for the year - GLWTS
  16. A vf48 should suit your requirements, have a word with Fastline Turbos Northampton.
  17. Wotcha and welcome - Moved to the for sale section to get more visibility. A great project for someone, good luck with the sale
  18. As above - I replaced my clutch with an exedy pink box but retained a standard flywheel for driveability. Car is currently at 350bhp
  19. nice one - did you get an alignment done as well?
  20. Wotcha and welcome - No switch on the drivers door card?
  21. A few floating about from breakers currently. As above, what caused the failure?
  22. A vf48 will get you 330 - Its standard on the STi and I have got one running at 350 with minor changes: Cosworth Panel filter HKS Up pipe Cobra decat & full exhaust system. Standard STI intercooler and standard injector size (550) Feedback from TDR Warwick when they did the tune was there is more to come as breathing very well but the internals are standard so did not want to take it past 350 before forged pistons etc
  23. Small addition to rear subframe - Been reading a lot about the flex possible at higher loads so given everything else has been stiffened and upgraded I thought I would add some additional bracing, simple bolt on mod from Whiteline. The part number simple design - should work no issues Powder coated to match ARB and I had read some reports of whiteline stuff rusting quite quickly Installed
  24. Wotcha and welcome - do you have any pictures of your car to share, any modifications?
  25. Looks clean - good luck with the sale
